FDA needs to approve electronic cigarettes because this will help create jobs and the economy because once the general public finds out about this, this will be an economical boom. Especially, if OBAMA knows about this, which I wonder if he does or not.

Create manufacturing plants here in the USA, which will create jobs. Also, since around 100 million people smoke in the USA, a lot of them will convert and be healthier, which in turn will reduce health care costs. It's a win-win situation.

I hope someone can answer this to me, and it may sound stupid.
But I rather be safe than sorry.

If I sign a petition for e-cigs, I worry that some government power has information that I have in my possession an e-cig, which I have read in the other parts of this forum, are, or will be illegal.

I don't want someone coming to my house, asking about my ecig, then taking it away for investigation, or just taking it because its illegal, then getting some fine for having it.

I also have several bottles of juices, that I know can be considered a threat.

I don't know, maybe that won't happen, and I may be a little paranoid, but I spent a great deal of money to have this thing, and I honestly depend on it to quit smoking.

This is why I avoid showing it off in public places, I don't want some police officer to snatch it. Or a group of teenagers for that matter lol.

If I see some approval from other members here, I will have no problem signing this petition, as well as getting others to sign it.

I think the government and police have more important things to do than them ramming your door down.

We have a long ways to go, might not even reach that high.

Although we may have 10,000+ e-smokers in this world, how many of them are going to see this and sign it?

What would it even do if we did reach it that high?

I'm also worried it might get too much attention, and some jerk will use it in his own way to get rid of these things.

I'm not sure on how everything works in this world, but if these things are kept with very little attention, will the government even bother taking a look at them?

What if we screw our selves over by getting all this attention, just to find out a study has been done to prove these things are worse than cigarettes.

Although, I would like to know that.

For the most part, I don't even know what the hell I'm inhaling, but I also have no clue what cigarettes have in them.

As long as the ingredients in the juice has less then 50 ingredients, I think I rather stick with that.

I was told when I first heard of these that there was only 3 ingredients, than 4, then 5, now I can see 20 different ingredients on some e jucie sites.

I made it BTW as well I have a letter that is addressed once the petition is completed that will go to the head of the FDA with the petition. I will send copies to our supporters in congress as well.

Even after we get 10K sigs it will keep adding as people sign up. I hope we can reach our goal and keep these wonderful things here for us to enjoy and grow old together. well I am 35 so I am halfway there.

I have kept up on all the ecig news, and to me there is no reason to be starting a petition to not ban them. It will just bring it out into the open more for pharmaceutical and tobacco to get even more angry that people aren't using their products.
