is it possible to make a non-sweet 100% vg tobacco juice or is the sweetness in the base just impossible to overcome?

Not getting along with pg makes for a lot of frustrating and well,frankly, half-assed juice trials that are inevitably "tobacco and chocolate" or "tobacco with just a hint of something-else-sweet-that-we-put-in-to-try-to-work-with-our-base-flavor".
i would give my left leg for an ashy,smoky,dark tobacco juice (preferably with some wta thrown in for good measure) that didn't taste like chemicals and/or cotton candy.
Is that just a physical impossibilty?

Yes. The lack of a sweet taste is one of the reasons I like it so much.looks like the hunt for a tobacco absolute is on!!!

We can always try....remember if you do purchase absolute be sure to use a tiny amount. A little bit of that stuff goes a long way. You can ruin a ton of elquid if you add too much. Just a dab is enough to flavor 10mls. I don't think I'm allowed to link other suppliers but that perfume lady rocks and is eager to help.

Man,that would be rad - I got in some net's from a well respected vendor in last weekend and it all just tastes like cologne flavored cotton candy.i don't know why but it seems like all the vg based tobaccos I've tried (except yours) natural or not have that same overwhelming perfumey thing to them with bases of varying sweetnesses.and then all the pg stuff I've tried to use either swells my throat up or makes me itch like a junkie

I can do WTA in pure pg but it seems like the masses enjoy or want VG.

I will order some absolute this week and send you some. The only thing is is that stuff brings put the grassy or hay type of flavors out in front of the flavor spectrum.

It's easy to make that stuff but I would need set up a different extractor at the lab.

Let me email a vet here on ecf for some ideas as well.

Oh yeah - I definitely want all vg.even the 10% pg juices cause the aforementioned issues. I have been using the straight wta to kill the cravings and it does it's' job well.even that with a bigger non chemical tasting tobacco note would be awesome.

Tobacco absolute is basically the flavor extracted from tobacco. No wta, just flavor and a little goes a long way. I mix one ml of absolute with five ml of pg and then use three drops of that in a 6ml mix that I make.

So you could mix a very small amount into diy WTA to make it a tobacco flavor? Do Aroma or other juice producers use this stuff? I'm not looking to discover trade secrets just curious.

I don't think aroma uses it. I haven't tasted it in anything I've tried. Some other vendors do use it. Once you've tried it then it's easy to pick out the flavor.

I did not find anything yet -I'm " delicate" evidently.most flavors taste like chemicals or cologne to me and pg breaks me out so all the net's and tobacco absolutes I've had, have had one of those two issues.To be fair, most laundry detergents,soaps sweeteners and almost anything synthetic has similar allergenic effects on me.
The wta is clean tasting (like everything else of theirs I've had)and aroma's pg even at 20 percent has a lesser effect on me than whatever everyone else is using - I still get a bit itchy but, I've had no rashes or throat closing up reactions from their juices like I do with juice from almost every other vendor.im sure there's other ingredient issues as well , but with most vendors being so paranoid about their secret sauce recipes getting out, who knows what it is.
I've got several higher pg juices from aroma on the way that I have high hopes for - if you wanna hear the long list of vendors whose stuff is unacceptable, I'd be happy to pm you a list
