Sooooo I have a Reo now

Thanks to Rabernet, I'm now the proud owner of a VV Grand! So far I love it, though I'm still trying to dial in my sweet spot for flavor. This is my very first step out of cartotanks and clearos into dripping...or in this case squonking. My B&M guy actually gave me a bottle of juice just for this when I told him I was getting it. 100% vg 3% nic.

So I assume it's best to use lower nic juice with this, rather than the 18% I use with my clearos and such. It's such a new experience! I don't have any specific questions yet, but be warned, I'm sure I will eventually.

It was so nice to meet you! Boy, he really dripped your nic! I would have dropped to 12.

Remember, you should be able raise and lower that coil a bit to see how that also affects flavor and throat hit for you. Not drastically, but just a smidge either way.

Make sure to post a picture so you can get your official Reonaut badge, and the fat lady should be along soon too with a tune just for you!

Your bm guy probably gave you the 3mg liquid for subohming. Spot of vapers when they go that route have to drop nic level because of the huge throat hit. Did he know yours was vv? Oh and congrats on the new reo! Take a seat and relax. And dont forget trash day is wednesday here in reoville(I think).

Thanks! Nah, he knew I wasn't Sub-Ohming (and don't plan to) But he also knew I'd be fiddling a lot with the voltage and such. He actually recommended 6mg, 12 tops. But instead of me buying it he handed me the mix he makes for himself.

I set the coil about right where it needs to be for flavor - right in front of the air hole. It's a 1.25 ohm coil, btw. You'll get more throat hit if you raise it, you migh get a bit more flavor if you lower it wee bit.

Or play with the VV wheel up and down a bit to find a sweet spot (turn to the right to increase the voltage, to the left to decrease the voltage). I usually coil mine around 1 ohm, which is a little warmer vape, but since we didn't discuss your preferred resistance, I went up a bit from where I normally coil mine. Used 28 guage kanthal, btw.

I agree 3 was too much of a drop and probably will not be satisfying. I would agree with starting at 12. Being at 18 before it will be hard to get a sweet spot with only 3. If you have a complementary flavor mix 2ml of of 3% with 3ml of the 18% and you'll end up with a 12% solution

Wonder why you would say that LOL. I'm glad she got this from you I wanted a VV Grand but didn't care for all the girly things that went with it. I'm just not much of a flower and butterfly kinda guy. Just happy it has gone from one good home to another.

Once I get the hang of this I'm filling my second squonker with some Mutant, it's 6mg. Great for night time! Flavor is almost there, just need to fiddle with the voltage.
