Before I've my first mech mod, I've purchase switches, connectors(batt & 510) and was planning to make a tube out of wood.... I've everything to make a computer other than time...

They are talking about computers. If i had the dexterity, i would definitely build my own too. BUT i dont, so i just buy the pre-built ones.

Yes i am gonna d.i.y my computer...got some diagrams which i found kindda interesting. just waiting for the final parts to arrive.

Are you talking about plug and play type stuff? Getting a tower and purchasing a motherboard, cpu, power supply, memory , graphics card, CD/DVD player and a hard drive? That kind of build your own computer?

If you are not using motherboard, make sure the switch can handle high current. Or else fire a few times, the switch will arc and fail.

you guys have seen those diy amp using altoids casing right? maybe a computer in the same vein might work as well?
I love diy myself, never thought that the components are readily available. are they readily available?

Most of the components are basic electronics stuffs can get from SLT.. Switches batt holders etc.. Probably a few stuffs may need more time to source.. Specialised motherboard 510 etc etc

Just wanted to update everyone, all my shipments are in.

1.) 3 - 510 V5 & V4 connections from FDV
2.) 10 - number of fuses from Amazon
3.) 2 - Mosfet chips from Amazon
4.) 5 - number of 15k resistors from SLT
5.) 2 - 18650 dual battery sleds from Amazon
6.) 1 - Modmeter by Modmaker UK from FDV
7.) 1 - DNA 40 chip from PTV
8.) 1 - bundle of 16 gauge wire from SLT
9.) 1- bundle of 20 gauge wire from SLT
10.) Many - open and close power switches from SLT/Amazon
11.) Many big clicky and small clicky momentary buttons from SLT/Amazon
12.) 2 - Aluminium boxes from SLT
13.) 48 - Magnets from FDV (but I realise Daiso has this too)

Got enough stuff here to make myself 1 regulated mod, 2 unregulated mods. For the newbs, it's entirely possible to be resourceful and get this sorted out.

100% mech box mod. Dual 18650 in series format.

Not sure if it's just all the hard work, but it just taste better then my store bought mods.
