After vaping all day and night I know if you take that first vape in mourn is harsh and has a lot of throat hit so I'll Vape at lower voltages n mourn and then crank it up when I feel I need to.Its kind of like when you smoked and have your first smoke in mourn its gonna be harsh but soon goes away. You could drop your nicotine level down and drink lots of water when your vaping. Are you getting liquid in your mouth?

Like was said in post #2, bad vaporization can cause harsh hits too. Then there's the composition of the juice. Too many variables to pin it down without specifics. Like ShogaNinjas said... specifics...

What hardware/battery are you using? If vv... what voltage?
What atomizer/Carto? What ohm rating?

Also, how old is the atty/carto? Does a new one help? Is it better for a while, then gets bad?

And then there's the universal solvent-turned-answer: Water. :D

Knowing the voltage of the PV (or voltage setting, if applicable), and the resistance of the atomizer you're using would be helpful.

I'm not going to speculate until I have the information needed to make a proper assessment.

I'm using a ego 650mah with a 1.5 dual coil smokteck cartomizer { I is not a VV }

Lose the Dual coil. Try 1.5 ohm single coil or even 1.7-2.0 ohm. The higher the ohms, the cooler the vape.

Top coil stuff is hotter... so use a drip tip of you can to extend the length and give the vapor some "cool down" time.

However, with the DC, it's probable that you're getting poor vaporization at 3.4 volts using two 3.0 ohm coils at once.

Your device really doesn't have the current to be pushing two coils like that at so low of a resistance. Although they are marketed for low voltage devices (3.6-4.2v - yours is a 3.6v but under that load it would be far less like 3.3v due to voltage sag) but really they are better on high amperage, high voltage APVs. I'm not talking about a Provari or a Lavatube, which can't push enough amps to vape them at high voltages, I'm talking about a Darwin (expensive, ugly, and rare), the Vario (won't be out for 3 weeks - it may blow the Lavatube out of the water, we'll see then), or Vmax (kind of a piece of junk).

My advice would be to use a 2.0 ohm boge single coil cartomizer if you love cartos, but even better I would recommend a low resistance E1-V clearomizer tank (you can find them on discountvapers.com for about 6 bucks a piece. You may want to learn how to re-wick them with cotton or bamboo yarn too as silica wicks have been found to be potentially dangerous and they are in just about every single commercial clearomizer. All of this and a great deal more are explained in the Vaper's Handbook which you can find the link to below, just above my quit banner in my signature.

Back to the subject at hand, of course I recommend hydration because most people don't drink enough water as it is, but I also can say that maybe you should reassess what ratio of juice you are using. If you vape higher VG ratios like 60/40 PG/VG 50/50 40/60 etc. you're going to get in a situation where the juice is so thick that it won't wick well and cause dry hits in a lot of atomizers (a general term I use to describe anything with a coil in it). When you vape does it ever taste burnt even if your carto is topped off? If it does I recommend the next bottle of juice you get be 70/30 PG/VG which you will find wicks loads better than 50/50 and will have improved flavor. If dry hits are the problem then that could easily result in a sore throat.

THANK YOU

Now what is said about this I drove 100+ miles to go to a vaping store (I WILL NOT SAY WHAT STORE EVEN THOUGHT I SHOULD) to talk with them in person so I would not order the wrong items and still they / THE STORE sent me home with not what I needed

Vaping is so specific to the individual that it is hard for someone to know what someone else needs. Another person can show you what works for them, but showing you what will work for you is a different matter.
I find that if "I" vape a top coil (like a Nova tank or a Stardust) for to long that I will get a dry itchy throat. So I change what I am using for a while, and use a dripping atomizer, or even just a different flavor in a normal Boge cartomizer.
Personal opinion of course, but vaping the same thing all day - every day is a mistake. Change just for the sake of change allows taste buds, throat, and so on, the ability to refresh.

OH and, lots of coffee so that I can do stupid things faster

PG is a throat irritant and also enhances TH so I'd also recommend 70/30 PG/ VG juice. Dual coils are only to be used with higher voltage PVs. I'd also reco 2.0 SINGLE COILS. Realize also switching to single coils you'll have much better battery life as DC will drain your batts quickly. I drink at least 1 1/2 liters water per day. More than 4 cups java= additional dehydration. Also last thing before I go to sleep a tall glass of water and first thing in the morning...tall glass of water.
