hi, i bought a 510 with some random juice from one of the few canadian supplier ... but i dont really like the juice since it makes my throat sore, its a PG 0 nic juice .. so i thought of trying some non-pg juice, i wanted something of quality... so i was about to buy some NON-PG 0nic from Johnson Creek even tho the shipping was a crazy 26$ ... but since yesterday they dont offer any more NON-PG juice... so i was wondering if anyone have some good recommendation for some VG 0 nic juice with no alchool.... im ok with buying from china... but would like to hear positive feedback first. (a good throat hit would be a big plus :p)

sorry for the 1 sentence wall of text verbal diarea

Your sore throat might have nothing to do with PG vs VG - it might just be that you are getting used to the drier vape as opposed to analog smoke.

Vape doesn't have any chemicals in it to "mask" the throat irritation like cig smoke does - so its drier and a bit harsher. Also - PG is a humectant - pulls moisture out of surrounding tissues into itself.

Make sure you have plenty of water on hand while you vape to keep hydrated. Also, the acids in most colas will cut through any PG residue left in your mouth and throat.

The big thing is, your throat will adapt to the drier vape. Took me a good 2 weeks to adjust when I started, where I had a slight sore throat.

Just ease into it - take small, baby puffs when you start a vaping session to get used to the drier vape instead of a huge hit first thing.

Welcome to vaping - enjoy the ride!

I'm glad to hear this. I started vaping a couple weeks ago, but promptly lost my essential gear (due to 4th of July activities that included a 4 wheeler made for a 10-year-old:p) to continue. I was a convert immediatly, but I had to wait for replacements. In the meantime I smoked analogs--which I hadn't done while sober in quite a while--which I'd never gotten this extreme dry mouth and loss of flavor from. I still couldn't stand the thought of smoking an analog anymore, but I was starting to think the ecig was causing more irritation than a cigarette, at least as far as dry-mouth and sore throat are concerned, and wouldn't get better. However, after seeing your post and some others about flavor I have full confidence in sticking it out for my body to adjust. It does concern me about the overall safety of the mechanism though. I still feel it's better than cigarettes and attribute a lot of the irritation to the excitement and overuse of my new toy;)

I hope that what I've heard is true and I'll adapt to these dryness and flavorless moments.

Sorry to hear about that misfortune on the 4th, that sucks! It will get better though. I had the same symptoms, and even lost my voice (about 50% of it anyways). but now I have no symptoms at all and can breath again, cant believe its been over 5 weeks since my last analog, but im now used to not smoking. Went from 2 packs a day+ to zero on June 6th.

And, wow its a small world! I live 25 minutes max. from anyplace in albany lol. Havnt seen any vapors around yet besides me and my friend, who I converted to e-cigs, and he hasnt bought tobacco in 2 weeks now. :)

Yeah, I don't see anybody using them yet either, and I'm out and about in places where you might see people using them quite a bit. I'm getting a lot of interest from people though and usually direct them here since this site saved me from getting a Blu and helped me decide on the 510 instead. I have a feeling it's gonna pick up soon, unless the ban happens. *knock on wood* I haven't even run into anyone who's heard of them before they saw mine though.

Same here, though im shy about vaping in public, my friend is not lol. When he does it, like at a Taco Bell, it gets everybody crazy curious, and at first a little ...... :D I hope these things spreading big time doesnt backfire, but thats doubtfull.
