Just tried it and it works PERFECTLY!! My thumb thanks you!!!

If you're using the Reomizer, just cover the air hole in the side of the atty with your finger, take a short draw without firing, and voila, no squonking required.

Thanks everyone, sorry I haven't been on-line except from my phone which I can't get to here on my phone, it's too hard to read.

Yes I have the button cover and at 1st I kept locking it up on accident but for some reason I must have subconsciously figured out a trick because I haven't done that in a while.

It also could be because I am old and my hands have been bothering me this summer because the weather has been so weird. I am thrilled to know there is an alternative because I vape heavy so it was REALLY getting sore!! I tried using my other hand but it felt weird as if I was left handed and would look down and darned if it wasn't back in my left hand again!!

Years of playing Super Mario Bros. in the 80's and 90's caused me to bypass this.
