Yesterday I popped for an iTaste SVD. I am only in my 3rd week of vaping--BTW where is the forum for the people who's "break even" date is already in the 2100's?? Anyway, my taste for vaping has far outdistanced my ability to use, and understand a lot of the equipment. My friend who has been vaping for 5 years, he and I were discussing, I wanted a new PV. I had started with an EVOD kit, quickly changed to an eGo twist, then added a Vision Spinner....bunches of mini and mega BCC tanks and 2 glass Kanger Protanks. Anyway, he said "you are moving up in these things so fast you should go for an iTaste with variable wattage too." So I did.

Now I have charged the battery for the iTaste SVD and ready to try it but looking in the owners manual I think it....uh, assumes that you know what you are doing when you buy one, LOL LOL LOL. It tells you how to turn on the buttons (click so many times, hold + and - for 5 seconds to lock it, etc) and I have no idea what "beginning wattage" I should try. Which way is up? Which way is down? LOL I'm a mess (but quite happy with the new toys). I enjoy changing the ohms on the Spinner and I get a much more satisfying vape from that (and the Twist) than I do the "old" eGo batteries. But I'm a little stumped on what "starter wattage" I should try, and then should I move up or down, and ....have I even made myself clear in this post? Oh dear. If anyone can help let me know!

Start at 5.5-6watts and move up until it starts tasting burnt/you find your sweet spot.

I've found that leaving the volts at 4 and raising wattage to 10 on at least high vg juices works great, good flavor and moderate to good vapor

When you change wattage, your voltage changes, and vice-versa. One always affects the other... if you set your device at 4 volts, it will output 4 volts... if you then switch to wattage, the device senses the resistance of your coil and then adjusts the voltage automatically to output the correct wattage. It does not stay at 4 volts.
