I'm damn sure it is but here goes. I'm 2 weeks into wrapping my own coils for GG ody and Im using 4 total wraps but no matter what I do they read 2.8 ohms. I'm using .32 kanthal and wire. 3 turns maybe? .28-.30 kanthal? Help? Lol.

Anyways, The 30G kanthal is working good for me right now. I have some 28G kanthal that works good too but I think I like the 30 better. I also have some 32 but I like lower ohms so I don't really use it.
The 30 and 28 will give you lower ohms than the 32. But some mods have a low ohm limit and (depending on the number of coil wraps and your build) the 28 kanthal might not work if the ohms are too low...Some mods have a 1.0 ohm limit.

what are you using for NR wire. I use 32 gauge kanthal with 30 gauge sterling silver NR put together with silver crimp beads. My kanthal length is just under 1 1/2 inches. I get 4 wraps for a resistance of 1.8 ohms.
