Sorta-new vaper here

Hey there! It's been a while since I've been in the vaping scene, I used to be a part of Vapers Forum(I believe) and now I'm here! I started maybe 3 years ago with the M801, all black with blue tip, and enjoyed it, but between the upkeep, the mouth full of burnt-nastiness, and lack of money, I decided to take a step back and sell my kit. Now I'm getting back into it, and I feel, am taking a better approach with not caring if my e-cig actually looks like a cig, so I got the Joye Ego-C Twist/Spinner 1000 mAh combo with clearomizer and bottom coil clearomizer(which I don't think existed when I was a part of this) from myvaporstore, and I have to say, those look awesome! I'm not sure how reliable they are, I had read about leaking issues, so any tips for those would be awesome. I'm also trying out MVS's Caramel PG/VG blend, so we'll see how that goes. I read that thinner juice is better for these, so I'm sort of thinking it might not work as well as I'm hoping. Anyways, can't wait to see how these things work, and cya!

Congrats on finding your way back and welcome to ECF. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with ego batteries. They have great battery life (especially the 1000mah) and although they don't look like cigs they are still very portable and fairly discrete. Myvaporstore is a great vendor and widely used. I have ordered from them in the past and had good experiences. What type of clearomizer did you order? It's easier to help troubleshoot if we have an idea of what you are working with. I personally use vivi novas when I use clearos but I mainly use dripping atty's now. As far as MVS liquid goes, I can't comment because I have never tried it but you will find that pg/vg blends do wick better than 100% vg due to the thickness. However, plenty of people use 100% VG and have no problems with anything they put it in or they dilute it with distilled water to thin it out a bit.

Hellcat, a Kanger T3 Bottom Coil and a Vision Ego are the two it's showing on the receipt. I didn't do any research on them like I normally do, so let me know if I chose wrong :p.

Wandawag, thanks! Looking forward to trying it out!

I also got some of Tasty Vapor's "blue bulls" because I used to love the red bull juice. Also, I work at General Motors and its nice to see a few e cigs floating around, although I think most are gas station purchases.

I have tried both. The kanger T3 works really well but I think its just a luck of the draw if you have one that leaks. personally I have not had this issue with the one that I have. I have a personal preference for vivi novas as far as clearomizers go but the visions are very popular. If you do run into any issues there are plenty of threads floating around to help you should you need it. I think I misread earlier that you were already having issues but I see that you haven't received them yet. Hope your shipment arrives soon, I know nerve racking it is to wait for vape mail, but, when it comes its like christmas.

Akomplice, I'll definitely let ya know, I'm so excited about that. Used to be my favorite.

Hellcat, I gotcha. Yeah, I got it in today, and the TH is pretty crazy, compared to the M series I used to have, the vapor is awesome, the flavor is pretty lacking, but I'm thinking the red bull will be stronger. The only issue I've encountered thus far is a burning taste if I crank it up anywhere past 4, and it normally takes a couple drags. Also, even at 3.2 it burns if I hit it fast enough, which I feel isn't that fast(maybe 4 medium sized drags every few seconds). Not quite sure what to think, but I'm not disappointed at all with the battery. Also they came fully charged!

Are you getting the burnt taste with the vision or with the kanger? If its the vision, you'll wanna make sure you give the juice time to wick back up to the atty. if its the kanger, then I don't know what the deal is with that. I recently just got back into vaping as well and started with a vision clearo and had the burnt taste problem from time to time too if I was taking hits too close together. Never really ran into that problem with the kangers tho since they're bottom coils and the atty stays wet. They tend to flood every now and then though.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Used the vision for a while, waiting for my red bull to get in, with the 80vg/20 from MVS, and it was definitely the thicker liquid causing the issue. Got the red bull in and have been vaping between 3-5ml a day, loving every hit. Vapor production is outstanding, throat hit is nice, and I get great flavor with the Kanger, although the vision isn't the best for flavor. Well, lost the rubber ring, somehow, for the inside of the Kanger, so it started leaking, and just now, the plastic tank on the vision seperated from the head, spilling all my liquid for the day on my work floor, which I filled up so I wouldn't have to bring extra liquid in. We'll see how today goes!

i'm like you morgan. i started with a cigalike and used that for almost a year. didn't care for the burnt taste on the cartridges and switched to what i was told was the newest technology - some sort of cartomizer deal i had to fill with a syringe and replace a teeny tiny rubber stopper, and what i believe was a very early eGo C-type battery (same size and form factor as probably a 650 C or something - i don't know exactly what it is). when it hit well, it hit like a champ. but most of the time, it just ended up leaking all over my battery. so i quit the e-cigs and went back to analogs for two years.

just got back into vaping about 2 months ago, and started back with a couple 1000mah twists and the iClear 16 clearomizers. what a difference from the 510 cigalike i used to use! i've had very few problems with the iClear clearomizers. lots of vapor, but the taste of the juice wasn't always great no matter where i set the voltage, but it depends on the juice, i guess. yesterday i just got a vamo to power my iClear clearos. wow. even better vapor, and now i can taste my liquids much better. The vamo might be too big for your liking, but i highly recommend the iClears for starting back on the ecigs. they work just fine on the twists. i also have a vivi nova and some sort of cartomizer tank that a friend gave me (don't know exactly what it is - think it might be a boge carto tank???), and in my experience the iClears outperform the other two for vapor, even on the vamo. but as always, YMMV...
