Great thread - if anyone has any good leads on cheap bottles and other supplies within the EU, who ships to Finland, I would be grateful (most of my stuff is from this Polish site, very cheap but somewhat limited selection).

Right now I have *nearly* all I need for awhile, but I made a serious error when ordering my first stuff and only got like five each of 5ml and 10ml plastic dropper bottles and a measly 5 plastic pipettes. You need LOTS of small bottles. Now I think I have something like 25 and 15, plus five 10ml glassbottles (with some fantastic glass drop-pipettes). What I am still lacking is bigger (30ml, maybe 50ml) bottles, but so far I haven't made anything I want to make a big batch of.

And what everyone said about syringes - luckily my pharmacy is quite helpful there, and I don't mind the sharp needles. 1ml syringes is IMO an absolute must when doing small batches.
But those plastic pipettes aren't completely useless, they are quite handy in transfering things from one bottle to another, when measurement isn't needed or when/if you are using a graduated cylinder to mix in.

Gooddog suggested (and I'm diggin it!) instead of using small bottles for testing, use those pill holder/reminders. The ones like this (sorry, on my ipad and can't post pics). I picked up 2 of them at the grocery store yesterday for $2.50 each....the equivalent of 42 small bottles (1 had 14 compartments & 1 had 28)...much cheaper than 42 small bottles and take up less space, etc

Those 1ml syringes are good, looks like the ones I use (my pharmacy has them for 10 euro cents each).

For testing small batches something like that pillbox (never seen one of those IRL, only the ones that are much larger) would probably work well.

But the thing I didn't realize at all before I had too many flavours and liquids was that I want to pre-mix a lot. I seem to be very flavour sensitive, so pre-mixing is a must unless I want to destroy lots of liquid. And when I also started to extract stuff...

I think I now have 2 small bottles unflavoured (nic and no nic), menthol spirits, EM, EM+TA, my extract nr1, extract nr1 very diluted in PG, my extract nr2, two flavours that are possibly vapeable as is but that I will most probably use as ingredients - that's already 10 bottles, and not one actual blend or creation. And then there's about five bottles with samples of commercial liquids that are either already diluted or awaiting dilution...

^^ It says it right in the original post. They're 4 oz bottles. Technically, they are 29.5 ml X 4 and a bit of change for each.

Doh! Thanks for pointing that out. I'm going to order some when I get home tonight. Might as well get some of those droppers mentioned up thread too!
