Right,

Basically, I've purchased a 30ml bottle of Solstice in 6mg. I am not new to vaping, been vaping around a year/year and a half and I've tried multiple juices/brands throughout my time. However, this juice is really really harsh on the throat for a 6mg and 70VG blend. I have tried this juice on all of my tanks and rda's using the iPV4s. From my Subtank Mini v2 with the brand new SSOCC coils, to my Velocity RDA with a fresh dual Clapton build in it, I cannot seem to find out why it is so harsh when I compare it to another one of my juices which is 6mg 70/30 blend.

Could anyone shed some light upon the situation? Or post your problems/experience with this juice down below?
Much appreciated

I had a love affair with this juice during the summer. I just put some in a tank last week and realized that it really is for when it's hot out for me. It just doesn't work for me on a rainy day.

I didn't get the harsh feeling you're describing...but I know what you mean. It's the lime, it packs a punch. It sort of tastes like a margarita. I think because I don't don't do many 70/30's, it was smooth in comparison for me since I'm used to 50/50's or 60/40's. But I supposed compared to another in it's class, I can see that.

I'd suggest trying it again on a hot day, and it may win you back.

For me it's got a serious throat hit too!
I like pulsar a lot! But the lower resistance, higher the watts, the more harsh it gets!
I really liked it out of high ohm pens with 2.2-1.5 ohm coils, evod style... Its what my wife quite cigs on thanks to the throat hit! I used red hots myself. Can't subohm that either but it's got high pg, so that's a factor with subohming too.
We even keep a pro tank 2 on a spinner just for pulsar(the new name, it was a limited time flavor with a white cap called solstice, now it's it steady rotation, black cap, called pulsar)
Once I stepped up to clearomizers and subohm coils, it was just too harsh/tart/bitter.

I recently got some of the controversial vaporesso ceramic coils, and was blown away by the flavor from most juice on these! Especially fruits and citrus! I thought I'd give it a shot and on these coils it takes away so much of that harshness, but still has great flavor! Like I say, once I tried these coils, nothing compares! Even a comp build in an rda isn't as crisp and clean and flavorful! If you vape a lot of it in a day it'll give you a sore throat, it's stout juice, but tastey!
I cant vouch for the safety of the coils, that's in serious question right now, thanks to a YouTube personality that I don't care for... Phil basardo took a more sensible stance about it IMO.
I can say that flavor and lifespan beats tradition coils hands down!
If you really like the juice, you might try these coils, or going back to a much higher resistance, lower wattage setup.
I found with my protank, a wide open drip killed the flavor! I'm using a cheapo plastic tip with a rather smaller bore.
Hope that helps, if not, you can sure send it my way! We use up a bottle every 2-4 days since we figured out that it's much less harsh on these ceramic coils.
Best of luck!
