I literally just placed an order for a Joye 510 off of Cignot and I can't wait to try it. My main questions are about the 'e-liquid':

Is this stuff required to smoke with an e-cigarette? Will it workout without the juice?

Does everyone use an 'e-liquid'?

What does it taste like without any e-liquid?

Yes, you do need to have e-liquid... otherwise you'll just be sucking air from the heat element in the e-cig. The liquid turned to vapor is the medium used by the e-cig to get flavor and nicotine into your lungs.

There is a ton of information on these forums that can help you figure it all out. It's a lot to go through but well worth it! Research is your best bet! Good luck!

Can I use any liquid such as water or juice, or do I need an 'e-liquid' specifically made for the 510?

You need an e-liquid specifically for e-cigarettes, but not specific to the 510. The liquid is a mix of fog machine juice (propolyne glycol or vegetable glycerine), flavour and sometimes nicotine. Your kit will come with cartridges that have filler soaked in the liquid, and this is what you "smoke". You use the e-liquid to refill your cartridges.

It doesn't need to be for the 510. Not all eliquids are created equal, but they'll all pretty much work. And no water, juice or anything else won't work. The nicotine and flavors are in the liquid. From cignot I'd recommend the ECOpure liquid or BASIC Liquid. I didn't care for their VG, and I don't generally care for PG liquids.

Yes the prefilled carts already have e-liquid in them and you can start with just those from the kit. You can start with just those or you can order extra juice to refill those carts with when you've finished with the prefilled contents. Most folks prefer to order their extra liquid on the side as the prefilled cartridges wont last very long if you really like vaping.

You can add one or two sample sizes (5ml) to your order just to see what they taste like. When you use up a prefilled cart, you can drip the sample juice into it to refill it and vape some more.

Yep, it'll come with a few cartridges already filled with juice, ready to just stick on and vape away. However, they won't last long and you might blow through them in a day, considering that theres probably a combined 2.5ml of liquid in those 5 carts. Definitely order a few bottles of extra liquid!

Awww, I thought from the thread title we were spankin' a new noob *grin*

DO order e-liquid right away. The prefilled carts do not last very long at all (contrary to claims about each lasting a carton or what ever the bee ess is that is printed on instructions, etc. on sites these days). So, if you can't wait to use your new 510 until you get some liquid in (I suggest a 20ml bottle at least) DO be careful using the prefilled carts and change them as soon as you notice flavor going off, or a slightly burned taste. Maybe at least get some vegetable glycerin at Walmart or another drug store so you have something to top off you carts and drip on you atomizer bridge with (no... water won't work). You can thin the VG with a few drops of water though.

Thanks everyone for the help and I'm sure I'll have more later. I already ordered my kit so I'm going to see if they can include some juice if it's not too late. I bet the tobacco shops around here carry some juice.

Cignot is great about combining orders! Just ask them in their comments field when you order again. As long as it's before either order is processed it should not be a problem.
