I made the original Spark-O-Matic the first week of January 2013. I decided to incorporate resistance reading using the same Panel volt meter.

hey spooky, this isnt the place for buying nor do i think break sells them. there are plenty of people who stole this idea and are selling them elsewhere on the world wide interwebs. i know youll find one.

break, you added some wiz-bangola to the original, love everything you crammed in there. by far the most useful zapper ive seen. absolutely amazing work my friend.

Doh! I spoke too soon. And the question of the 9v was the problem. It's my own fault for not looking at your schematic properly, breaktru. It worked a bunch of times before I installed it into the jiffy and then I tested another 2 times and then 3rd test was nothing. And the battery was warm. I wonder what I fried? I have another flash board but its not a fuji and no extra cap.

I can't believe I made such a obvious mistake!?!?!

You're right. I've learned alot today. Not done anything with electronics for over a decade. I did get the original fuji in the same way you advised. They only had one at the time. I left my number and asked if they could collect some for me. I'm happy with my first effort even though it failed. I'll know what not to do next time.

It takes sometime to get back into the game. Same with me. It's been decades since fiddling around with electronics for me. Had a re-interest when I decided to build mods.
