Eyeballin' I'd say it's darn near a perfect match for my Russian :) apparently the ring manufacturer matters a wee bit. I have a set of RH coming, worse case I'll trim a little off in the lathe...

First I want to say that this is the Kayfun clone which was pictured with the purple tank previously.

When using the purple tank, I did need to place one of the AGA positive pin insulators in the very top of the chimney to prevent the leakage and make a vacuum seal.

After finishing that tank, I decided to try the nano tank on the same clone, and it fit perfectly with no adjustments needed. I did have to use a chimney from another clone setup to test it, as the RHC kit that I received didn't have the short chimney with it.

This one works beautifully with no gaps, perfect vaccum...no adjustments whatsoever.

(And yes Uno, the nails are still "pink".)

Thank you both for bringing this to my attention....I didn't run into any problems fitting the tanks on my Rainbow Heaven Kits. The chimney for the Full Size and Nano cleared the o-ring in the top cap. No leaks and the draw was fine. The tanks were fitted using a Tarsius Kit but I was confident we were good to go using different o-rings. Apparently tolerances are on the edge with regards to the chimney. Since both of you ran into problems I've pulled the Rainbow Heaven option from the website. Better to play it safe than have a customer service nightmare. If anyone else has ran into this headache feel free to return for a full refund. On the bright side...Uno is all set cause he has the TC :)

I understand what you are saying, but I am perfectly thrilled with mine. I have another set of the rings coming and if I have to adjust o-rings or whatever to make it work I will. But I also understand that not everything is going to work perfectly for everyone, since I don't have an authentic Kayfun or any of the high dollar toppers - I can't make any comparisons. Even my R91's I waited through a long group buy to purchase.

I know that little insulator is something everyone doesn't have, and again as I stated I am so use to fiddling with all of my equipment it's not a problem for me at all.

I guess in my ramblings, I'm asking, if someone already knows the product and can use it effectively knowing the quirks - would that someone still be able to purchase that product from you knowing they may have to fiddle to make it work?!?!?!?!?

Absolutely! Anything you need just let me know:) Tolerances are all over the place when it comes to clones. Quite a few of the RH versions have been ordered over the past week so I'm very interested in seeing how many have issues. The funny thing is... when fitting the full size... the chimney cleared the o-ring easily. The Nano was a bit tighter but still made it.

See I had the complete opposite situation with the RH kit and the two size tubes. The standard I had to use the insulator on, but the nano worked perfectly without it - weird. I will be interested to see if there is any difference with the one I have coming from Kidney Puncher.

Also I have another Kayfun clone, the lite version, again a FT product, and I can't use the RHC kit with it at all, the cap is totally different than the one pictured.

I was thinking about purchasing and ehpro clone, but I am still looking for the cheapest one possible (yeah I'm like that :D)

My 2¢ but in regards to the EhPro Kayfun Lite clone I can vouch for the quality, I have a few and the only difference I've found from the real-deal is the draw is a little tighter as the air port below the coil is physically a little smaller, haven't measured the difference but there is one...

Thanks Uno...that is actually good news for me, I really dislike loose draws - I tend to be more on the side of a little resistance so it sounds like it would suit my needs perfectly.

Ain't it Purdy!?!?!?

That purple is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I put it on this clone since I can't change the DT on it. I really need to get another one with the replaceable DT.

Is that purple glass?
If it is, I must must must know where you got it!
(no, I am not purple obsessed at all)

Just Sayin...Never should of made tanks for the Elite Hybrid from Rainbow Heaven. When the "authentic" version can't keep consistent tolerances you know the clones are going to complicate things!! Everything is from China in this case  Authentic from here on out. I could go on a major rant right now but I'll spare you :D

The Fogger V4 has dysfunctional dimensions!!! A 21mm OD is a custom draw for the rest of the civilized world! I managed to get a 20 X 1.2 to fit without obstructing the fill port. Unfortunately the smaller OD left a little play that required gaskets instead of o-rings for an easy install. Gaskets for a 1.2 wall have to be custom ordered. There's a MOQ and the pricing is pretty crazy. Here's the fix because I know you like to tinker Elantis:D One Standard DID tank and two AGA-T2 gaskets. You'll have to make a tiny notch for the fill port but you'll be in business!!

:) Purple possessed...Spectrum Tanks, the OP of this thread has all colors of the rainbow for many, many different toppers! You need to check out his site by clicking here:

Spectrum Tanks - Home

And you will definitely see purple, blue, red, amber, teal, even some pink perhaps :D - I know he has some available sizes in Sparkle too.

Ok..thanks for the info! I knew that FoggerV4 was going to be a bear once I got it and measured the glass, it is very thin and delicate and TBH the airflow ring is a pain! I had to do some altering to keep it from spinning every time I picked it up! I actually prefer the V2 with it's funky glass and top fill even though it is more difficult to set the coil in the well.

I may just have to break out the "glass" paint and get creative :D

And I totally understand about the whole China thing (major rant avoided :))...on that note  I won't tell you I just bought an ehpro clone

Call me crazy but I bought the EHPro just to see if the TC/RH threads matched up. They both threaded on smoothly...Have to agree with Uno on that one.

WOOT!!!!! That makes me very happy-well ya know since I have one on the way and I like color now so of course it will have to be dressed up a bit...:D

(Oh and yeah - you be crazy!!!)
