Are the #2 and #3 size tanks... for the 23mm or the 22mm SnP V1's?

Hi Spydro! Both sizes have an OD of 22mm.

Don't know how I forgot to post that my tube and tips arrived yesterday :?: unbelievably fast. Very nice :)

Holy crap that was quick! Glad you like em Uno. Please let me know if you can edit the title. I want Elantis to rename it as long as she manages to work in Tankopotamus:D

Got my order in yesterday, thanks again for the extra Spectrum :)

I love the look and feel of the new tips. They fit nice and snug in all the atties I tried them in. My only gripe would be with the interior diameter in the base of the tip. It is pretty small... I would really like to see that diameter be a bit bigger.

My main reason for wanting glass tips was for use with Genesis style atomizers, as I cannot use SS tips because they get too hot when chain vaping, which I tend to do a bit too much. I run my gennies with a pretty small airhole, ~1.2-1.4mm, and in this case it is not a problem, as the hole in the tip is still a bit larger. However I do find that when using on a kayfun or a dripper with increased airflow, the tip actually restricts airflow.

I'm curious if the hole in the base of the tip needs to be that small to maintain sufficient strength to reduce the possibility of breakage when inserting/removing the tip? It seems to me that it could be a bit bigger, but I'm no expert.

Any thoughts Spectrum?

No complaints allowed!! Seriously... It's good to hear they fit nice and snug in all of your devices! The only way to increase airflow would be to use tubing with a thinner wall. This would compromise the integrity of the tips and change the aesthetics. I think "preferred airflow" tends to be very subjective. Sorry you feel the airflow is somewhat restricted when using certain devices. We were shooting for middle ground when making the prototypes.

Yeah it appears I was able to modify your title a little, added a "+" at the end, waitin' to see if the world blows up or sumpthin' ;) let me know what you'd like it to be and we'll fix ya' up :)

Thanks Uno! I'm interested in seeing what Elantis comes up with for a new title. Shes full of good ideas! Can you change the "+" to "...Tankopotamus!" for now? I think that would be a quality change :D

I hope he isn't serious....I have been thinking on this and something like:

Extreme Color Tubes and Tips - Spectrum Tanks

or if he really wants that word in there - "Tankopotamus Tankopolis" ;):lol::lol::lol:

Or you could even hold a contest for a new name that would bring more traffic and get some great ideas too - just a thought.

Got my tips a couple days ago! Thank you, Mike. Awesome product, and super fast shipping makes me a happy camper! I really like the shorter length on these (compared to the v1 tapered tips). The vibrant colors are fantastic! The clear prototype is loved just as much - appreciate your including that one! I love your glass! :D

Seeing all the talk about the IBTanked carto thingys, and seeing the beautiful photos Elantis is putting up, is making me wonder if that is something I need to look into! I've strictly used bottom coil tanks since kicking my cigarette addiction. I started with various ProTanks, but have graduated to the Kayfun Lite Plus. I really like not having to worry about keeping them upright to prevent leaking, or having to constantly fiddle with them. Very convenient. Maybe it's my inexperience with other delivery systems, but I can't see an advantage to the Genesis-style atomizers or the Cartos and Carto Tanks. Steel mesh wicking sounds kind of scary. Disposable cartomizers sound like a hassle. This maybe not the place, but you guys seem to be the experts - maybe you can briefly enlighten me?

I really enjoy this thread, and everyone that participates within. Mike, you've got a good thing going here - awesome product backed by a spectacular community. Thanks everyone, for making my time here such a great experience! :)

Tankopotamus Tankopolis is awesome! That gets my vote!

Another name I was thinking of was "Tankopotomus Tubopolis Tiptopia" :D

bigcase: The Kayfun's are great and have quickly taken over most of my Genesis type attys. I do still have a few of the gennys I use strictly at home because I love the flavor of certain juices in gennys over any other delivery system since I don't really enjoy "dripping" at all.

The Carto tanks are easy, leakless and depending on the size of the tank can last along time. I have some juices that I prefer totally in a carto tank. I have a few 25mm IBtanks for my Silver Bullets and 22mm's for the ProVari's and Zmax's. These are my daily juices, I don't have 1 ADV - I have like 7 of them, at some point during the day I vape any and all of them.

The carto system to me is not finicky at all, I buy my cartos in bulk when possible and they run me about .95 each - one of these can last 3 days to 10 days depending on the e-liquid (I try to use the thinner clearer liquids in them). They are very portable since there is no leakage and to date I have only dropped one PV with the carto tank on it that shattered. Another benefit is you can see the complete level of your juice. I have tried other carto tanks (not ridiculously expensive ones like some) but prefer the IBTank caps due to their simplicity. I just love Mike's glass better than what is offered there...plus I am getting into a little color. And with that note - I need to see if IBTank has the "green" caps in so I can make my new purchase a total "green machine."

Maybe someone else will chime in too on their thoughts.

Thanks Elantis, that helps. Maybe have to get my hands on a Carto tank system one of these days - do a little experimenting. When I do, you can bet I'll model it after one of your shots, featuring Mike's Tankopotamus glass! :)

You said you prefer thinner juice in the Carto - does that mean 100% or max VG is not going to play nice? I've seemed to have settled into 70/30 or higher. Appreciate your input! :D

100% VG juice in a carto is a little tough, I do have a few slotted cartos that I use for darker (thicker) juices. Mine range from 50PG/50VG up to 80PG/20VG. The only 100% VG juice I have is Boba's and I really don't vape it any longer - I have heard that some who like carto tanks will dilute the 100%VG with a little distilled water and it makes it thin enough to wick better.

The pucnched cartos are just as varied as everything else in the vaping world, some have 2 - 1mm holes, some sloted, some small holes, variations in brands, Boge, Smok, and IKV, flanged or flangeless, regular size and XL... (mind spinning yet?) but no worries, there are a lot of people to help and Mike's Tankopotamusses are 'da bomb!!!!!

Thanks Uno! Got a chuckle out of that addition and it makes me :D

bigcase...Thank you my friend! Just listen to Elantis as she's a wealth of information. My mind was blown just reading that! Pretty much had to take notes...Outstanding veteran commentary!!

Elantis... I drive through Indiana 3-4 times a year. Tell me where you live so I can stop by and give you some stuff! Get your mind out of the gutter  Really... I greatly appreciate your suggestions and wisdom. Now give me a final title so Uno can post it. Must include Tankopotamus or Tankapalooza :D I'll swing by and personally give you some stuff!

I still can't believe he did it

I have done a lot of reading and note taking myself in my 19+ months of vaping and have delved into so many things way over my head, but I am not much of a poster (well with the exception of here it seems :p) so I spend most of my day reading and absorbing.

Elantis... I drive through Indiana 3-4 times a year. Tell me where you live so I can stop by and give you some stuff! Get your mind out of the gutter  Really... I greatly appreciate your suggestions and wisdom.

 Now if I only lived in Indiana that would be "fantabulous", but unfortunately I am a transplanted Hoosier thus the location of Hoosier "Cornhusker" - now living in the middle of nowhere Nebraska. It takes about 4+ hours either North, East or West to get out of this dang state !

Now give me a final title so Uno can post it. Must include Tankopotamus or Tankapalooza :D I'll swing by and personally give you some stuff!

Ok here comes the pressure again...:p
