A photographer I am not, so I've included the mental soundtrack that plays every time I see this beauty:

Oraaange!

:D

You take really nice shots Elantis and now the pressure is on for matching nail polish. Would a pink tank help with that? :p

Haha! Totally agreed! That's what I've been whining about! :D

I just need to do "rainbow" nails then they will go with any and all pv/tanks I decide to photograph!

Lol, no shortcuts! You have to scrub and reapply for every picture posted! That shows dedication. (I can see how that would get a little tedious, though! You are rotating what...12 different combos?!) :)

Love the pic but the soundtrack is over the top! How in the hell did you come up with that? You and BC make me laugh!

Yeah thanks...encourage him - bigcase now has me looking over every nail polish display trying to find just the "right" color to match all of your tanks that I have....geesh!!! (j/k ;))

ORANGE! Haha! An oldie I hadn't heard in a long while, but it popped into my head when I got the new tank - I've played that track maybe 50 times in the last couple days! Makes me chuckle every time! :D

Hehe! Who me? I'm just providing a friendly nudge, to keep you moving in the right direction. I was looking through some of the older Tankapotamus pictures, and some of yours were coordinated. Like you, we like to see matchy things! Since it would be kinda weird for myself, Mike, and Uno to match our nails to our tanks, that responsibility lands entirely in your lap.

Not sure why I didn't do this earlier but...

I finally figured out what the actual issue is regarding my 1st set of rings and being able to fill my Russian using the needle tips that I use for all my devices with a fill hole. I discovered this when I went to my second set which is manufactured by RH (can't remember who made the 1st it was given by a friend :D) anyway there is 20 thousandths (.020") difference between the ID of the two sets, which is enough to stop the needle (yes even a 20ga) from slippin' far enough into the tank to keep the juice from blowin' back out the fill hole, basically it stops cold on the tube shoulder...

I'm sure a few peeps that have been followin' this probably thought I was nutz especially if they have the RH sets which work as intended

Ok so now I know, solution is I'm hopin' to be able to bore out the ID on the other set, but the rings are very thin and small, getting them set-up in the lathe may prove difficult...

I'm glad you found out what the problem was even though it may be difficult to correct.

All of mine are the RH ones, but then again, all of my Kayfun's are clones ;) so I deal with all sorts of differences. I haven't received the ones from Fasttech yet, and have already ordered two more sets as they have them now in Brass and another set in Black. If they get the ones in Black Chrome plated - I will probably get those too.
