Some day I may take the plunge and buy a Provari (waiting for the 3) but for now I'm loving my MVP v2. I'm using and loving the iClear 30, 2 Aspire nautilus Minis and a Kanger Protank 3 and frankly I wish I had never bought the EVODs and the Vision Spinner II. Complete waste of money for me. I can't stand the hassle of needing to charge the things all of the time and I love the clouds and flavor I'm getting from this thing.

I could spend days talking about juice but do your reading here and you'll likely not go wrong. I've bought some meh juices but perfectly acceptable and some AMAZING juices from Suicide Bunny, Five Pawns, and waiting for Ahlusion and about to pull the trigger on some Nicoticket (I found their counter first so I'm using it).

Welcome :D

I feel your pain my first 20 something days in I was like almost 2000 into it searching for cool new better things

But hmm lemme ask do you shop online or at b&m? I switched to online after that first amount spent but its up to you

You mentioned something that you can set and forget I would suggest:

Aspire nautilus with bvc coils
Seven 30 mod

Thats a solid let it be set up imo thay will last a long time

Welcome to the forum. To spend so much looks strange, and I hope you haven't been ripped off. Even so I can't understand how you've got through so many clearos and other hardware, and wonder if there is something wrong with your approach, and if maybe you need to stand back and think very hard about what your expectations are. Throwing money at vaping hasn't worked for you so far, time for a rethink?

I'm not a fan of Kangertech coils, but haven't tried the Aspire Nautilus yet.

I would say if you still have any $$ left, go ahead and buy the best, on this forum, the most user happiness seems to be:
Provari with Kayfun or Aspire Nautilus or Protank 3
Provari with punched cartos and a carto tank
REO with Reomizer RM2 or other RDA, or over the counter atty like Cisco or even 1.7ohm smoketech shorty cartos (which is what I would still use since i do not want to be a builder of coils even though it is pretty easy)

2nd choice: MVP2 with topper of choice (though when battery dies on this it is gone forever, but should last a year (???)

None are cheap except MVP2......but you probably won't ever need to buy anything else if you get one of these setups.

That is from reading here for 2 full years and having tried a lot of other stuff myself. And there ARE a lot of neat devices that might make you happy but who knows.

YoU NEED TO GET VERIFIED FOR THE CLASSIFIEDs........then you can buy other people's stuff when they upgrade. Save money that way~

First at the very very beggining i bought normal ego batteries and some evod and ce5 tanks and they worked okay for around 7 days and lost their power then i eventually tried kanger pro tanks and they were even worse...
I'm not an expert, but it seems like we can debug this.

I started with an EVOD and a normal eGo battery. One charge on the battery lasts me about 6 or 7 hours before it starts losing juice and starts hitting noticeably softer. It usually takes about an hour or two to recharge at that point, and then I'm good to go again. When I take a drag, I hold the button down for about 5 or 6 seconds and take a puff, with about 30 seconds to a minute or so between puffs. I suck the air directly into my lungs. I'm using 18mg nicotine eJuice, and I feel like I've had enough nic after three or four minutes of that, and am good for a half hour or so before I feel like I want more. I've been using the same coil and battery now for about three weeks without any noticeable change in performance. I refill the tank on the EVOD when it gets down to about 1/3rd full. That's usually a bit less than a day.

Are you doing something different? You shouldn't be draining the battery all the way, when you drain it all the way it doesn't hold a charge as well. Are you holding the button down for longer? That might cause the coils to wear faster, or it might start burning the juice.

wow you guys are amazing!!!! So many answers so quick thanks!!

With what you guys said i think im going to get a provari unless you think the mvp or the itaste 134 are better , there is also one that has great reviews called Vapor Shark DNA 30?
i can get the whole provari kit with a charger and batterys and a nautilis as a package for $220 or the vaper shark dna 30 for $50 less or can get the itaste 134 AND the mvp for same price as provari.

The ejuices i have tried so far have been plain so i googled around and from the reviews i see the real expensive five pawns looks good and so does virgin vapes and mtbaker vapor. I might just order a few bottles from each to try.

I still use Kanger PT2s along with a GP Spheroid a Russian 91%and a KFL+.

Kanger is a great brand if set up correct, they are inexpensive and readily available. I put aerotank air flow controllers on the bottom of my PT2s and Mini PT3s. It made a huge difference. If you are looking for an inexpensive mod as I was, I went with Vamo, I would suggest the V5 in stainless. You can rebuild the coils in the Kangers and I still rebuild mine with a 1.8ohm micro coil and cotton wick.

The possibilities are endless here! Some people here can turn your worst nightmare in to a great success! Please don't give up!

We can help!

I'm utterly and completely new...that being said...I bought a few Itazte vv battery sticks and a slew of amazingly inexpensive Aspire BDC glass tanks with the metal covering. I spend 4 hrs a day in a welding shop, 8hrs a day nursing on a busy CCU floor, and it's the only tank that hasn't broken open in my pocket, been melted to death by the stuff I'm putting in it or fallen into it's own pieces. It's fool proof, doesn't leak, has a screw down mouth piece that does not dislodge, and the glass is shielded from impact, and I impact everything...I carry a few flavours in my pocket and switch out as the day progresses. It has a pass thru for when you run into a usb port, and they are everywhere in my school, and has a variable volt readout with buttons to change it. I like it alot better than all the ego's and spinners I started with...again, I'm new, and new to vaping in this last year...but I know what's not broken in my pocket :)

I bought a Provari so I wouldn't end up in your situation, so I really feel for you and understand how this can happen. I was about to go down that same road.

I use the Provari with the Mega Tank and the beauty ring made my Provape. You can also put a Kayfun or one of its clones/replicas on it too. Just note that they have announced the Provari 3 which is not on their site yet. However, you can pick one up and older model around $100.00 used sometimes.

You might also want to check out the new EMOW's (small form factor). It's similar in performance to my Provari and Mega Tank, although the EMOW is not "as powerful".

When you get into this price range (Provari) its better to try it out first. I understand this is easier said than done.

ya the rebuildables look to complicated , i like to set and forget. I have 3 battery on 3 tanks all with different flavors i vape through the day and carry 2 around with me when out. Even that kayfun and russian look too hard , i would rather buy 5 quality tanks and throw out 1 each month and put on a new one as i find tanks crap out after a month tops. Kangers last me a week tops thats why i will never buy again. The Ismoka BCC by FAR have been the best tanks i have tried and want something better so gonna try nautilis ones.

Anyway can anyone respond to what i just quoted?

I don't know about the rest of your questions, but I'd really like to understand why this is happening. The tank is just bits of metal and plastic, and there's nothing there that should be changing radically over a week's time. I can understand if you NEVER like the tank, but if you start out liking it, but after a week it's no good any more, then something is seriously wrong. There are also coils in the tank, and those wear over time, but with normal use they should be good for a few weeks at least, and are easily replaceable items. How exactly are you using them? How often do you recharge the batteries? How often do you refill the tanks? Do you smoke the tank until it's dry, or do you top it off when it gets to about 1/3rd full? Do you ever clean your tank? Are you sure you're not over or under tightening the components?

I'd love to help you figure this out before you waste another $700! That's a lot of money!

like the title says i have spent well over $700 at least on batterys and a ton of different tanks and everything but 1 has either lost its vape power over a week and i would get barley no smoke or they would leak real bad or not even work well to begin with.

The coils on the EVOD tanks are meant to be replaceable. Did your batteries lose power after a week, or did the heads just start losing "power" i.e. vape quality.
Not sure which CE5's you got (There's a CE5-R that I really think is great) but I believe that most of them have replaceable coils as well.

First at the very very beggining i bought normal ego batteries and some evod and ce5 tanks and they worked okay for around 7 days and lost their power then i eventually tried kanger pro tanks and they were even worse , the next tanks i tried were davide glassomizer ones and again they worked well for a week then started crapping out but at least i had coil replacments but even still they kinda sucked.

After all this money i decided too buy bigger batteries like the ego twist and another that had a real high mah and bought 3 different types of tanks and at last i found a decent tank that lasted 3 weeks before i switched coils and the power of the vape stayed decent.
This tank was the Ismoka BCC mega and they are plastic tanks and they actually work well so i ordered 15 tanks for $18 each and a bunch of coils and have been somewhat happy but now im on my last tank and wanna ask the pros about the best possible gear i can get.

I also found that I liked plastic heads more than metal ones. Here's some I would recommend. All these have replaceable coils, and IMHO very good flavor and vapor. And are very inexpensive.

These are an incredible value. At a little over $1 each, they work very well.

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1609800
I was very happy with these as well

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1640900
For a slightly larger tank, these were great for me.

All 3 of the above take your basic replacement coil heads (which can be rebuilt)
I dont care about price , im ready to ditch the starter ego stuff and want the $140+ best possible variable voltage batterys that just work well , i will purchase 2 different ones
also i wanna buy 4 of the best tanks you can get , each one i wanna get something different to find one i really like. I looked on youtube and a few like the nautalis mini and regular and a hypertank look decent but im not sure.
The ones you drip into cotton look too hard , i want something i can set and forget and i dont really care how big a battery is or tanks i just want something awsome , again i dont care about cost

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thanks oh and ps im trying different company juices and this killer custard from vapetasia looks decent and viper vape flavors look good but i wanna try a bunch so any reccomended flavors or places let me know , i like fruity stuff like peach and berry stuff and cinnamon and mint

Spending more money will not necessarily get you better results. Get advice and make smart decisions.

The MVP should definitely be one of the 2 you try. No doubt about it in my mind. Get it from 101vape and you'll have a great VV/VW mod for about $40.
"Deadly Sin" from Good Life Vapors is a cinnamon-roll flavor that is very well liked around here.

Edit: By "Around here" I mean in my household, although Deadly Sin is also pretty well-recommended here on ECF.

I've been using Provari and VV Reo Grand for about 18 mo. now. They are both fantastic mods, you can't go wrong with either. The VV Reo is not in production anymore, so you can only get them from the classifieds. I also had a Zen sidewinder for a while, but a mech mod with a 18350 battery is just weak. The only mod that I would consider buying now is the Sun Box E7 by Del Sole. It's the best of both and then some. It's a DNA30 bottom feeder box mod with modular changeable panels. But, It will cost you about $400.00 usd and the backlog is so deep that they now longer accept preorders on their website.

What craps out on the Kangers? the coils? Something else about the tank fail? I go through a coil or two a week depending on the type of juice. Probably 30ml worth. I know people that have had the Kangers in service for well over a year with nothing but coil changes.

they just lose their power after a few days and barley let out any smoke , even when i would put on a fresh battery wich i have 3 ego twists it was terrible.
But then again i only used the pro tank 1 and 2 then never tried another again. I been using fully plastic tanks ever since and am goona 1 last time try other tanks thats why i wanna try the best , if not i guess the imsoka will have too do.

I have taken everything into consideration and decided too go with the provari and am gonna buy 1 nautilis and 2 minis with a coil pack.
The problem is i want the dragon one and provape is out and my local store i just called and they have only the zombie.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for the dragon ?
