Spheroid, how much filler material to use?

was hoping to tap into your expertise on the Spheroid.
How much filler material should be used depending on the PG/VG ratio.

I'm using as little as possible, especially with thicker juices like Boba's bounty, which is what I'm currently vaping. I have no basis that it works better other than assuming that too much filler will restrict flow.

do you have any measurements?

I am currently using 1.5cm x 5cm for 80/20 and 70/30 (PG/VG) mixes.

i don't know if i could put more in to hold more liquid or if its too much. On the 80/20 seems fine but the 70/30 it seems ok. Getting a scratchy feel from the vape after 3 or so continuous hits but it might be the juice needing to steep (not sure, new juice and flavor so not familiar with it)

I don't, I just wing it, and I'm using poly fill since I got mine second hand.

Get the Poly-fill for quilting.. that is what I use in my GUS Aiolos and it works best.. premium bag for like $6 and you will NEVER run out! I got mine at Walmart

You might try the reticulated (exploded cell) foam material which is used in fish tank filters. I used Aquaclear material in my old 801 cartridges and it held more juice than the polyfill and wicked quite well. It needs some compression when installed to work the best, so if you try it, cut it to a diameter about 1.3x the diameter of the top cap. Punch an X-shaped opening through the center with a small chisel or screwdriver and stretch it on over the bell tube.

The foam is very easily cleaned for reuse and dries quickly.
