You've been around enough forums to know how it works, ApO. Small and comfy is wonderful...it's great...I like it, too.

Eventually, though, some forums grow up and get busy. When they do, things have to change or they eat themselves. You know this, I know this, most of the people that are involved in this situation know this.

Some people just don't want to accept it.

That is, however, how it is...And how it WILL BE.

One of the problems is that the forum ran, unchecked, for a very long time. People got used to chaos and anarchy, all the while screaming that more moderation was needed.

Now there IS more moderation (yet NOTABLY less than at some OTHER forums I frequent) and people are complaining that there's moderation.

Again, though, the key is for everyone to handle their complaints, objections and suggestions in a reasonable manner. This thread is a PRIME example. A questions was asked, it's been answered and, thus far, everyone is being reasonable, calm, collected and adult about things. If everyone remains that way, this thread will NOT be locked, people will NOT be banned and we can all carry on. If people start with the sideways comments, the cries of "fascist" and the shenanigans again, though, it WILL be locked and then there'll be even MORE calamity.

And keep this in mind...This isn't any fun for us. We don't WANT to close threads. We don't WANT to ban people. We don't WANT to have to get involved. If people make us, though, we will.

I think one of the things people were upset about was that in Spikey's first thread a mod (i think it was epipeman) came in and said the thread would stay open as long as it stayed civil. I missed the last couple of posts in that thread, but up until that point there was nothing overly inflammatory imo. But I tried to look again and bam it was gone and a new thread was started that got ugly fast.

I know, I liked her original avatar. In fact I liked everyones original avatar. Caeasera changed hers to where I frown now and Kate a brown kitten. I am now so confused when I visit. So hard to keep up with this fast moving place. Then the new moderators came out like cockroaches and infested the place. Will be interesting to see where it all goes and I hope it is for the betterment of this place

This is like the 30th thread about it so no one is moving on. It would get very old to spend every day moderating these threads instead of discussing our pv's(remember what this forum is about) and our real enemies.

Now we're trying to get a cage match going so please stop ruining it for me.
