Hi guys quick question.... I have an ego spinner a month or two old and a brand new kanger T3. The kanger constantly leaks into the battery. It seems the more i tighten it down the more it leaks. I hook up the kanger to a different battery and there is a little liquid coming out but not nearly as much as on the spinner. My last test was an EMDCC onto the spinner and that started gurgling/leaking too.

Is this the battery causing this? Either way the news will be bad...

I'm 99% site that it's not your battery leaving but rather your kanger.

There's two issues here, one you do not want to over tighten anything to a battery because you can cause a short on the battery end or push up the center post and make the atty leak.

The second issue is whether you have a genuine kanger t3. It's come out that a lot of vendors have ordered knock off t3s which have the problems of: dry hits and... leaking. Pbusardo had a post up on tasteyourjuice.com with a way of telling if you got the real deal or a leaky one.

Last but not least, if it is making all over your battery, please take off the atty immediately. You don't want any of that going into your battery and causing the battery to malfunction.

Its definitely a possibility of the post. My friend borrowed it the other day and it was super tight. Is there any way to fix the post?

If it's been screwed down extremely tight and pushed in the center post to the point where it's leaking and that's the issue, you might just need to get a new coil. I'm not sure there is a way to fix it
