Button tops are the ones to use. Also you can stretch the spring up more. I did this with mine. I use button top AW IMRs. The connection was fine but there was some movement in the tube so I held down the bottom coil of the spring with one finger and stretched the spring up. Stopped the battery movement.

Why don't you sell the batteries that fit this? Can't you stock AW batteries? That would eliminate this problem for many of us.

Thank you for your asking.
Both Joyetech 2200mah 18650 Li-ion battery and Unprotected 18350 Li-ion battery on our site can fit the eGo APV

I just got one of these yesterday. After patiently waiting for the batteries to charge I was happy to get rolling. I got the joyetech 2200mah batteries as recommended. At first this thing was working perfectly. After a few hours of use, I now have a delay when I press the button and when it actually provides power to the atomizer. Sometimes it takes several seconds. Is this a symptom of the loose battery? I tried stretching it out a bit and I get one or two hits right away and then the delay comes back.
