Has Coppervape fessed to the photo? Is it possible that Coppervape WAS designing a clone - they are cloners - but found a way to "improve" the device at the last minute, and then used the clones they had previously made in their marketing?

In the long run, I don't care... it's all just milk under the bouncing crumbled cookie...

the OG photo is in corey's thread. It is not just a pic of a CC, it is a pic taken by corey himself

Nothing that I would say is 100% Conclusive. But some I know believe that CV saw a "Better Mouse Trap" late in the development/marketing phase.

Doing a 1-to-1 Clone has it's Benefits. But I also has it Downside if you Clone something that has a Loyal, Tight Knit, Vocal Group of Followers. And, believe it of Not, there can be some Legal Issues.

Look how long it was for the Provari or a REO to be Cloned. It wasn't for lack of Willing Buyers.

I can guarantee you CV didn't find a better mouse trap.

Better yet, I also guarantee you they found a cheaper mouse trap.

That's why it's not a 1:1 aside from any possible legal recourse.

Legal recourse I doubt matters.

Corey only puts the best into the CC. That includes solid silver contacts and buttons milled out of the same material as the mod.

Materials including tenellum and titanium.

Can't put $40 worth of parts into a $30 mod before making the mod body and installing the 510.

Simple as that.

Yup... as a craftsperson (I am an artisan broom maker... no, really), I fully get it. As a craftsperson, I'm also too broke to justify one lol.

I have a CV, and it's just OK. Far happier with my cloned Frankie, and eyeing a Boxer...

The argument could be (has been) made that I could have bought just a few authentics, but then I wouldn't have the diversity.

"Better", as in Better Mousetrap, is a Subjective word.

I have had the Luxury of comparing the 2 Side by Side. Using Identical RDA's. With Identical Builds and the Same e-Liquid. As for Performance, just Didn't see any big Differences.

So to some, a Better Mouse Trap would be a Similar Mod at a Much More Affordable price that wasn't a 1-to-1 Clone.

I say if someone wants a High End Mod that perform Very Well, buy a CC. It was a Very Nice Mod. And if someone wants to spend 25 Bucks and get something that performs Very Well, buy a CV.

It all just kinda gets down to what One wants. And How Much they are willing to Pay for It.

I'm not sure if I was the 1st Person on the ECF to get a CopperVape, but if I wasn't, I know I was one the Very 1st.

I watched the Entire pre-sale roll out. And before CopperVape shipped anything, there was the Video Review that Todd did.

Like I said, not Condoning using someone else's Image. I'm not. But there was talk that CV originally planned on doing a 100% 1-to-1 Clone. That is why there was an Image that looked like the OEM Mod. But decided to go with their Design that the CV was released as.

Ya sand it down buff it all out and it would look the same?

Hard to believe there's a CV/cc comparison going on. The only thing they have in common is they both heat wire just fine. They're not made for the same group of vapers.
Can't like this... we're all vapers...

Ya but come one 450$ for that box seen used for over 300$ I really that is a bit much for 20$ of metal so a cv would be my choice but after having a boxer I really don't see the big deal anyhow and why so my hype over BF mods

No.

The Coppervape has a bottom load battery with a screw in battery door and a completely different type of button.
Not to mention the obvious seam between the top-cap and the body, which is practically invisible on a CC.

Authentic Hadaly and SXK NarDA clone both on CoV Wraiths. Put fresh builds in both yesterday. I actually haven't vaped either in a while, been using the stock Wraith RDA a lot, man was I missing out haha. Definitely a reason why these two guys are so popular and hyped up by so many. Flavor, flavor, flavor, flavor, and even more flavor. For days.
