Is that a Phenom/Cruiser? How do you like it?

It's a Phenom. One of my favorite single coil attys. I tend to run relatively low resistance single coil builds and the Phenom with the airflow wide open is just about perfect for my vaping style. It's a winner.

Purdy Squonkies. :) Over here swapping out between two SQs, Furyan. Unable to recall the name of the RDA on the Furyan at present. It's an SXK from FT, (Haku Venna) styled. The RDA is doing really well though.

Been thinking about getting an SQ, but I don't really use my mechs much. Maybe that would change if I had a better one. My Venna is authentic, xmas present to myself :)Very nice little atty, but I still love my Citadels.

What build do you have in the Venna?

It is a simple build. Got the Derlin/Ultem spacer in to use it single coil. Very likely it reads out about 0.30 to 0.35 Ω. It is a 3 mm ID, Kanthal of 26 awg.

Nothing fancy, just a simple single strand of thread/wire wound to a coil. I like the K.I.S.S principle. :) Saves me a lot of hassle.

I use the same build on most RDA, mod kits here. Usually, I stay from 0.30 to 0.50 Ω with a tolerance of 0.05 Ω. Two SQs using 18650s of Molly Cell (Yes I know it is spelled differently, am sure you can understand the battery brand though.), the Furyan from Lost Vape's is a 20700. A couple of Geekvape Athena mods w/ Oumier Wasp Nanos. Still got an old brass Coppervape & an aluminum one one.

Do have a couple of regulated devices, a Vapresso 80 Watt squonk box, a Dovpo Topside lite. Got a Mosfet Wismec Luxotic. If you're not sure, I don't care for regulated devices much. Got the ones I do as something for in a pinch, to get coil readings if/when needed. Using the mechanical mods I'm usually running an average ~25 watts, maybe ~28 w/ a fully charged battery.

Don't care for regulated as in my experience most of them soon turn to bricks. I'm not capable to do electronics work here for lack of capacity, lack of a assignable area & tools for it. Mechanical mods usually require less work, less tools, area to fix if something does go wonky. See? K.I.S.S "works fo' me." ;)

Got a Gorge, a Redemption RDA in rotation. Got a bunch of tube mods now as well, a Keen, a Rouge, a Uwell Skull Keeper. Can use this sweet spot build on most if not all the gear I got.

Then it's not a Venna, it's a dedicated single coil - it's the atty on the purple Dotsquonk in my picture.

I totally agree with your point on mechs, it's why I have a few. For day to day use I prefer regulated, though. Your build doesn't have to be spot on to give you the vape you want, if you want more heat just bump up the wattage. Also you get stuff like curves and puff counters, which I like to have for various reasons.

But to each their own, thankfully there's a lot of variation :)

Apologies for that, misread my FT orders. Here's what it actually is though.

That one looks interesting, putting that on my list to pick up if I stumble across one.

And a happy new year to all my fellow cloud creation engineers!
