Here is a redo of a wood squonker I made about 8 months ago. Worked great until the old school style of switch pocket fired and took out the mini A7 I had on it. So I did some changes to it like a new style of 510 and moved it. This allowed me to put a 22mm brass derringer on it with no overhang and match it with a FDV new soft Tac switch. Also added my first mosfet. Working great. What do you think?

The change scored in both the form & function categories.
What kind of wood is that?
The top and bottom are walnut the main part I think is zebra wood? Not 100% sure as I bought some scrap pieces from a wood store this is what they looked like when I started.

Wow..just found this thread and feel like I'm living in a cave. Had no idea there were this many BF mods out there  Own two REOs with the P76 ordered on and it's way.

What are the BF mods I see in here that actually have a watts control??????
Same with me @AngiBe never seen this thread until today :?:

UGH! IKR?!?!? I've always wanted a regulated BF mod that I can adjust the watts but assumed there were no such animal. Well, maybe there still isn't but....seem like a lot of options out there which is a good thing. Nothing better I feel than a Squonk vape!

There are a bunch of fancy ones out of italy. Or a bunch of cheap ones out of china. Not so uncommon now.

A great regulated squonker IMO is the SteamCrave Squonk mod, it's under $100 & pretty rock solid except for the battery life. Other than that it's pretty nice.

Thanks for the info and read the threads...seems to be a big hit or miss on likes versus dislikes. Gonna continue reading about it, but my gut is telling me to pay more for a higher quality one. And longer batt life would be a bonus. May need to check on the fancy Italian ones ;)

I ordered one of these today after multiple failed attempts to get a decent Sunbox. I haven't heard anything negative about them so am willing to try.

Read in a few threads that most atty's don't thread all the way onto the device. Huge gaps... Lets hope you have better luck.

This is as flush as you'll get it, without completely stripping the pin inside. I have a gap problem myself, but this I can work with now. When I first got it yeah it was pretty bad.
