Hellow Fellow Vapers,

Well my wife and I decided to stop to a garage sale the other day and look around.

I was poking around in the junk and noticed this old toaster for 50 cents.

I thought aren't there heating elements in a toaster ???

As the story would go I had to have this fifty cent toaster just to look at the coils.

I took it apart and I found 2 different size Flat Ribbon Wire inside--about 15 feet total.

I took the smallest wire and made a 1.35-ohm- 5 wrap coil and lined up the flat sides so as

to be even and not twisted.

Tasting good ---great flavor on my Derringer and using the Derringer on my Smokless Owl

Squonker-----great vapor----heating evenly--------pics above of the wire....

Personally I stay away from any wire I don't think I fully understand. My bet is it's Nichrome. Good luck with it :)
Yup, odds are that's what it is. (I think there are a few vape vendors that carry Nichrome 60 ribbon IIRC).
