SS cotton mesh set up

Hey guys, basically I have my genesis atty setup at 1.2 ohms with a 6-7 wrap of 28 gage kanthal wire. The cotton on my wick keeps burning, not setting on fire but after a days use it is literally black and charred. How do I stop this?

Describe how you have this setup, cotton wrapping mesh?
Without knowing what your doing I would guess the cotton is scorching from running dry *or* your getting leeching of baked juice off the mesh into the cotton making it look worse then it is.


Can you post a pic, would really help to understand the setup

It's the set up that riptrippers uses on his "ss and cotton mesh" video, its basically an as wick with cotton wrapped around

ouch... SS mesh is okay for wicking but adding cotton over that will reduce the capacities... SS/Cotton wick is wonderful for the occasional hit but really fails when chain vaping

Ahh ok, thank you. I'll just use the as wick for now.
