SS Defender Carto Tank from Catskill Mtn Vapor

Anybody out there have one of these? Looks like a really good tank design with pyrex viewing window and made of stainless.

But...before I order from new vendors, I try to do a little research first. The research has led me to believe that I probably shouldn't order from them. Anyone here have any luck with Catskill?

Not ordered from them, and I share your skepticism about this vendor. I've heard good and bad about him. When the tank was first put on the market, the vendor told me via email that the colored versions to match the Provari colors would be available "very soon". It's now been at least a month and I saw within the last couple of days that there are still no color options available...adding to the skepticism I already had for this vendor. Sad, because I am intrigued by the tank's aesthetics and design.

Yeah, these tanks look good,but skeptical of the ordering indeed.

I've found similar designed tanks, but the "viewing window", or sight glass of the tank seem to be made out of cheap plastic.

Thanks for the thread, 44OBB. I've read most of the negative posts about this supplier, was hoping to hear a few positives like, "oh yeah just received my tank, and it's awesome". LOL!

Truly a shame, because these tanks look good and the price is right. But not going there with a questionable vendor.
