Here's the large sleeve that goes on the Line connector first. Goes on tight....Not ridiculous, but tight. I cut down the existing 510 connector and finished the threads all the way through.
You can see it's threaded all the way through.
This is it being threaded on the line.
This is it threaded all the way on.
You can still see the Pos connector of the Line.
Here is the isolated Pos connector of the adapter. I made this from the pin that came out of the Don's connector and some 6mm brass rod that I created 510 threads on making it adjustable.
Here's another.
You can see the isolated Pos connector screwed in. Screw it in until you feel it hit the Pos connector of the Line. Fit it snugly....don't over tighten this part. You don't need a screwdriver....you can do it by hand.
Now take the whole setup....Adapter and The Line together and attach it to the Don's top cap.....unassembled. Snug....don't overtighten.
Here's a shot of the underside of the Don's top cap with The Line w/ Adapter attached.
Now assemble the top to the Don's body. But Make sure you back out your adjustment screw past he bottom button.
This is where the screw was adjusted to on my Don fully assembled and ready to fire.
Walah!!
