Definitely do as Phil did! I got an rsst and the natural yesterday. Set it up exactly as he did in the video and wow! The flavor is absolutely amazing. I don't have any 28g kanthal yet so just twisted some 32g. Did a 3/2 wrap of it and came to .8 ohm.
The pulse method works so well with this atty. it took me all of about 1 min to have my coils glowing evenly.
In the process of getting everything broken in and am loving the process. I can't imagine how good it will be when it's broken in.
This is my first rba btw ( I did get a zap yesterday as well so I had two first rbas lol)
Vape on!
Damn... an RSST and a zap together as your first RBA attys. Man, your in business!
While I don't mind oxidizing the wick - and I do it with the aga t2 because I envision major problems getting unoxidized right at my skill level - I've convince myself that unoxidized will provide the best performance. That's not an informed opinion - as I just haven't read enought about it, but rather a hunch. With the wick hole insolation on this RSST, it looks like a good device to go unoxidized, as PB has shown how easy it is... almost too easy.
This RSST looks like my next atty... especially at the price. Looks way better than the aga t2 too, imho. Clean, easy setup... it's just unfortunate that you can't use a U wick and has plastic tank. Just hope some people's concern about the insolation melting isn't gonna be an issue. But I guess you could always take it out, as some have suggested. Might could even bore out another hole on the deck and go U wick too... sure some folks are gonna try that.
