SS Mesh edges.

So I have noticed that the edge of the SS wick mesh is kind of a troll... You can make a 3ohm coil.. be vaping... put it down.. pick it back up again and BAM nasty burn taste...

Look at your ohms and they are half of what they were when you put on the cap. Then when you go and look for hot spots you see one in a very specific place... right on the edge of the mesh. Twist it a hair and the hot spot magically disappears..

Genesis attys man... Genesis attys... should I be folding my edges over before I roll my wick? Seems like that would make an off shape wick though.

I used to just make sure that my edges were trimmed well but now I just fold the outer edge over...works well.

I fold about 1/4" of the outer edge in, before finishing the roll. It eliminates the fuzzy edges.
