I'm having issues with my ss stealth cap. I had a new ss stealth and bought a ggts top section to make into full size ggts.

The problem is the stealth cap does not fit the top tube. The tube appears slightly too big. Has any one else experienced this? There is no way I can fit the stealth cap on the top tube. This is really annoying me.

I appreciate any feedback on this

Thanks I've just seen your thread but bit of a different problem. I really have no idea what to do with this
Unless I'm misunderstanding your first post, it sounds like the exact same problem, only with the top tube instead of the telescope. Loft who recently purchase a ssggts #75 second-hand had a problem with his stealth cap not being able to screw on both telescope and top tube. I would suggest contacting your local GG seller, I'm sure they are familiar with this issue.

The issue only affected the first 300 SS GGTS - I myself had to get a replacement top tube. Imeo has let all his suppliers know this. Imeo stands behind everything he sells so no worry Steve.

I can only think of 2 things.

1) Just inspect the threads for any metal residue from the CNC process or check the inside threads of the Stealth cap for dirt. Also apply Vaseline and work it in out it should eventually screw in all the way if its that.

2) Where did you get the top tube from, maybe it's not original (yes common problem)
