Setting up a did. I have 325 and 400 mesh with 32 k wire i understand the wick hole is big enough to take a double wrapped wick. For best wicking should i use same mesh or mix 325/400 would like to wind up with best combo for chain vaping with out dry hits. Plus how many wraps for this size of wick?

Best bet is to use one wick ( 400 ) and how many wraps is dependant on what resistance , your looking for . If you have a multi-meter , you can check the resistance of a lenght of wire , before you do the wraps . Without one of those , try starting with 5 or 6 single wraps of coil . Be sure to pre-burn the wick and wire . That will get rid of the metallic taste . And lastly , there are no guaranty's againt , dry hits . Either your chain vaping , and not allowing the juice enough time to wick . Or maybe using too much VG , and it doesn't wick very well . Good luck .
Some swear by 325 ss and others say its 400 what is the difference as far as wicking and flavor. I have a meter and vv mod just looking for some combination that have worked well for others with the did. This unit is still in the mail and want a general idea to start from.

i just swiched to #500 ss mesh and love it flavor is better and wicks great rip recomended it and he was right
