Greetings everyone!!
I recently joined ECF to be among others who enjoy vaping as I do. I've been vaping for about a year now with a Riva 1100 and also a standard 808-1 e-cig (battery hog). Finally QUIT SMOKING 3 months ago!! I'm moving up to a wick & coil setup soon and would like to know your thoughts on creating a mesh wick with 325 and 400 SS.
I'm using 70PG-30VG and 50-50 juice. Thanks!

That's a major step, but one you probably won't regret. There is, however, a learning curve to getting the mesh done "just right", then getting the coil not to show any hot spots, etc. Once you get the hang of it, the vaping experience is fantastic. Clouds of vapor. You'll probably want to get yourself a nice battery mod (18350, 18500 or 18650) to handle the load. Some like the bells and whistles of a variable voltage mod, but having had experience with both types, I'd recommend the mechanical.

There's tons of info in the DID thread (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/euro-suppliers/296166-new-genesis-type-atomizer-did-869.html) which can apply to any wick and coil type atomizer, particularly the videos on how to prepare the mesh. If it doesn't work right away, don't despair. Put it away (before you throw it out the window) and come back later. Once you get your own technique down, you'll never turn back... :)

I made the jump too when the DID came out. Started with that since the Zens had a waiting time until I found out that there was a PH distributor here. Got a standard and mini. Waiting for the ZAP and ZAU. I use all gennys now. All the rest are in my box never to be used again. I guess the DID was a good "baptism of fire" as it gave me a good training on gennys. You wont regret it.
