...Just trying to help my fellow vapers appreciate some humour.
No sir I'd never joke about another man's mum that's off limits. Can't fin a manual on iJoy's site (or at all)
Humour (with an extraneous U, no less)... humor?
You think joking about my mom is funny?
Well... do ya... punk?
If I get my hands on you....

... No one understands Celsius ...

And yes humour was a bit of ironic sarcasm. Or something like that![]()
I like that, that's a great idea to learn the symbiotic relationship between Celsius and Fahrenheit. I was only half joking about knowing what clothes to wear. That seems like a great way to better understand Celsius. I'm still never gonna adapt to meters though. Feet and inches til the day I die.On a serious note...
As a typical US American... Celsius is akin to a foreign language. As in... I can't "think" in it, much along the lines of your *ahem* lifted comedy routine about knowing how to dress, etc.
So a year or so ago, I got tired of chasing a "normal" temp, and worrying whether something was wrong, or too wrong, if I wasn' right around that 420 F mark.
So I set all my TC mods to Celsius for a couple of months, and just went with what felt good while producing a satisfying amount of vapor.
Broke that habit right quick.![]()

Yep the beauty of switching to which ever is NOT the unit v of measure you understand is the Vape becomes more important than the settings... and wether or not they are accurate....On a serious note...

I think if I start to use C instead of F I will have a better grasp of Celsius. Like if i hear it's 40 degrees Celsius outside. I will have a better idea of the temperature outside. Knowledge is power.
Oh and the mom joke, yes I forget where I was. Besides I'm a gentleman and your mom is perfectly safe with me here. No means no and I like to take things slow. You don't have to call me dad right away, but one day.....I'd appreciate it if you did son. If you ever need anything feel free to ask, if you bring me beers out of the fridge. I'll look the other way if you take one for yourself. Just don't push it, if you get drunk I'll never hear the end of it from your mom.
But seriously, it's a nice house. I can get used to it here![]()

I don't think it quite works out that way all the time. If you set the watts very high compared to what the coil can use before the mod throttles it continually, you get a very lousy vape with little or no vapor. The screen will flash protection continually and it isn't very satisfying.
You still need to set wattage to a range that the coil needs to ramp up and maintain the temperature without it being so much wattage that the chip continually cuts the power to keep try and maintain it.
You may be right but I get that on a DNA 75, Pico and Joyetech evic with the more or less anemic coils I use on a subtank mini. They are single coil SS 26 AWG .6 ohm coils. They work fine with TC as long as the watt is set at 15 to 20 W. Set it at 30+ and they just don't generate much vapor at any temp. They throttle and just don't work right.
So the coil may have a lot to do with it as well.

No idea what causes it other than it seems the coil ramps up too fast and stays hot long enough to choke the control. So it just basically flashes protection over and over. Maybe the Evic two works differently than the Evic VTC mini I have.
