stacked 18350s in a dual mosfet parallel box

So far no gripes, my batteries stay cool and the mosfets aren't fussing either.
I use the 12a AWs and tensai 14a 18350s.
Give it a go if you're thinking a series box mod would be for you.
Battery life sucks, but that's a given when using 700/800mah batteries even in parallel.

Maybe I'm just prejudiced, but I don't like stacked cells. It I were gonna build a mod and really wanted 7+ volts in it, I'd probably use a S2 LiPo pack. Even if I were gonna use 18mm cylindricals, I'd probably mount them in a sled as individuals and just series the contacts. All that said, using 4 of them to parallel 2 x 7V stacks would give you some reasonable battery life and lower the ampacity of each cell a good bit, nor be much heavier than two paralleled 650s. And hey, you say it's working...

It's working quite well, as far as stacking batteries I don't find it any more dangerous than wiring in series. The only draw back is the lower amp limit and battery life on the 350s. I have a couple 18650 mechs wired in series but this was just a fun experiment with my 18650 parallel box.
