Last football season I brought my Provari to the Bengals intrasquad scrimmage game at Paul Brown Stadium during the NFL preseason. Was holding it in my hand and showed it to the security people at the gate. They were primarily checking for people bringing in booze or whatever. The security person nodded his approval and waved me through the gate.
I vaped in the concourse area where the food vendors and restrooms are located. Security people walking through the crowd paid no attention to me. Others there paid no attention to me as though they had seen a vapor before. I thought about going back outside the concourse area to where the smokers were huddled to see what reaction they would have to my Provari, but didn't. I didn't want to smell their smoke.
I have vaped openly at outdoor concert facilities, with security's approval. I saw Loverboy, Pat Benatar, and Journey in the same show. It's getting to the point where I'm not going to ask for approval anymore as I've not encountered issues yet. I attended an indoor Muse rock concert earlier in the year, a faciltiy that is non-smoking. For this I did sneak my vape in a pocket and stealth vaped during the show. There was obviously some other stuff being smoked as you would expect at a rock concert.
I have yet to see another vapor out in the wild, so it's not all that common in my city. However, with the opening of an AltSmoke B&M this year in Eastgate Cincinnati, I expect that should change soon.
