Stainless Steel Drip Tip

Had to work the night shift on Labor Day and was so bored I decided to make a drip tip. I know, you can buy one for peanuts, but like I said, I was booored. Took about fifteen minutes on the lathe and another ten on the buffing wheel to polish it. Made from a piece of SS 3/8 solid rod.



Mine next to an aluminum one.

Very nice, I wish I had access to make something like that like I did at one of my previous jobs. I know they're fairly cheap, but I still can't convince myself to actually buy any that I've seen online.

Yes you can just buy them but, with making them your self you can make them however you want. Like if you want a 6in drip tip you could just make it.

You could sell these faster than you could make them. Just incase you do decide to sell them put me on the list. Very pretty.

Nice! Arent lathes great, here is one I did out of SS, was going for the fluted indian look, the curves are PITA

Was thinking of making a lathe tool out of HSS that has the curves already done so it would be faster to make.
