I ordered this from Desire e-cig back on January 22nd and it hit the mailbox today - 14 days from Paypal to delivery - pretty quick IMHO. The Atty is designed for top filling, which is nice. The threads are very precise through out as well. The star of the show is the knurled air flow control ring - it will give anything from a tight to loose draw. I haven't heard much mention of it here but it deserves more attention.

The price went up a buck since I ordered but is still an outstanding value at $22.99.

Yeah, those work well. What you have has the newer Knurled base.

Screw in your air adjustment for a tighter air draw.

Another difference is the material used - this one is stainless steel. It's not as thick as a KFL but it functions nice.

I want one!

Lol - the man who has everything wants something I have!

:)

Love your reviews btw!

I'll be ordering one of these soon and you answered one of my questions....the whole thing is stainless. Good to know. I thought perhaps it was only the new middle section that was stainless. I find the draw much better on my original rocket than my Tobeco KFL.

Now if only it had a 510 drip tip....maybe for the V3......

Does it still have the same horrible deck screws? Only way I can get my coil wire to stay under the deck screw is to wrap the wire around it, which isn't easy to do while keeping your coil in place.

Don't get me wrong, love the vape I get from the rocket, I just dread when I have to do a new coil on it.

I get one side locked in so the coil is stable. By doing this I can make placement adjustments. When I am satisfied with the coil placement I secure the remaining coil leg. This method works with the three RBA's I have that have similar decks. Maybe all three have crappy screws but without anything different to compare against I just don't know any better.

I just looked at photos of the original vs. the V2. and it appears to me that the screws are the same. No big deal.

I first place my coil, then hook one lead around a screw just enough to help hold the coil position. Then I wrap the other lead completely around the other screw and tighten. Then it's back to the first leg, and I finish wrapping that lead completely around the screw then tighten. Even using 28ga wire, this way works everytime for me.
