I've heard other ECF members talk about getting good results with dripping by completely removing the bridge. Does the bridge serve any purpose at all other than to act as a wick for carts? Do iatties still need the bridge with an AFS?

When my atomizer fries, it means that the coil got broken. Usually it breaks at the level of the solder point with either the positive or the negative pole. So I remove the bridge and the wick, than I locate with a flashlight the broken point. Since I can't solder it, I just squash it with a very little screwdriver, until the 2 points are in good contact again. Then I use the atty again by dripping on it only. It works great. The only difference is that it dries quicker and instantly. No problem. 2 drops and it vapes again like hell. I've had an atomizer broken 4 times on 4 different points, fixed and it's still working good. Each time it fails, I squash it at the broken point and use it again, once the contact is made again.

i have many of these that I keep aside for emergencies and shortages.

I had done that to an atty and the results were no good for me. Hot liquid was in my mouth many times when I inhaled Boom. Bridge had a purpose for the wool but maybe protect us from liquid too

Great news. Last night I was able to revive 5 of 7 of my 801 clogged attys by cleaning them with grain alcohol and my ultrasonic at 10 minutes and heat (I use the large $65 model at Harbor Freight, the small one is worthless).

Bad news. Out of those 5 attys that I revived last week, all of them completely died now. A couple only lasted another hour or two. The longest one only lasted a day.

My feeling is that the RY4 I have been consistently vaping for weeks is part of the issue. It seems that when I switch to a lighter juice (mango or kiwi), the atty clogs less and will probably last longer. The problem is that it's hard to vape fruit juice more than a couple of hours. Something in the RY4 is prematurely ruining the attys.

Imeo, what is the estimated time for availability of your iatties? I am down to less than 5 standard attys now.

If China had send me the right items then they would be to Rob 1 week before. But I have to correct the wrong holes on them!!!!!!!!

One more bad thing (exept delay) is that I have to pay 1500 euros to fix them. I got very ungry when I saw the wrong atomizers but thats life friend, I cant do many things now exept trying to fix them. I believe that in 1 week they will be ready:)

Dude, go back to cartomizers. The cost less per each, standard cartos perform better at 5volts than 3.7, and you can just pop the top off and drip to keep the carto filler wet instead of dripping right onto the coil.

I understand. I have used cartos many times on 5V Prodigy. I simply prefer the flavor of dripping the PureSmoker, Riskee Yuice (RY4). I have tried this same juice at 3V and don't like it.

But....you do bring up a good point. Perhaps, I can fill a Carto with RY4 and vape it at 5V. Brilliant !!!

If the iatties do not give me more than double the life (they cost twice as much as a standard), then I will be forced to vape Cartos at 5V. I do love dripping for some reason though. It's sort of soothing I guess...

They stay alive for much more time with AFS for several reasons 2packs and this applies to all atomizers for sure:)

I've been waiting for a magic metal disc that I can put against say a GG Super Slim connector to regulate the voltage down to 5 volts. Or some other magic way. I prefer cartos but 3.7 volts is not enough and 7.4 is way too much.

try i6 at 6 volts and you will have exactly the same experience my friend uzza. No reason for magic disks, we have magic atomizers here:):)
