I guess that depends on what you are after. I went with the mini to have the more compact size. If I want more battery time, I can purchase the extension cap & the bigger batteries.

If you don't mind the full size and want even bigger batteries, you can get an extension cap for them too.

Just depends on what you're willing to carry, and how much battery time you want/need. So far I am pretty happy with the standard mini battery time.

The standard won't buy you anything you don't already have except capacity for the 18650 battery (with an extension cap). With 18500 bats at 1100 mah or more, a mini with extension cap should give you an all-day device (YMMV). Plus, the ability to run in 18350 mode gives you more flexibility on the size/convenience side.

I think you're sitting pretty right now. :2c:

Hey Tina,

I actually have a spare Tatroe ring that I do not use. I bought 2 of them just in case I liked the looks better and I don't. All you would have to do is get the extension cap from fuzion and you will have access to all 3 battery sizes. The standard provari does not have access to 18350s. I would recommend having all 3 sizes for different situations. For instance, if you are going to run out for a few errands, an 18350 would be perfect. If you are leaving for the whole day and don't want to carry additional batteries, then pop a 18650 in there and you are set for the day

I bought a standard size yesterday. Went in to get mini, but my local dealer doesn't stock them anymore. I did get to look at someone else's mini. The size difference is negligible and I didn't care for where the button wound up when holding the mini. A little less weight would have been nice, but then I'm a pretty heavy vaper. I easily kill my 1300mah winder in a day. I wound up with the full size without the extension. The middle of the road you could say. After using the full size and seeing how long it lasts with the 18490, I probably could have gotten by a full day with the mini, but I don't regret getting the standard size. I like where the button falls in my hand better, and the extra weight helps keep it from falling over when standing upright on my desk with a Pro Tank 3 on top.
I guess the world and I will never know if the Mini would have been better for me........or will we?
No law against me owning both!
Maybe if I buy my wife a REALLY expensive Valentines Day gift she won't notice if I buy another?!? =P
If she knew what I paid for my first Provari setup, she'd kill me! Good thing I paid cash! Hopefully she'll think it cost about the same as the last Winder I bought. After all, their both batteries (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
(Fingers crossed)

For me personally, carrying a Provari in 18650 mode with a kayfun on top in my pocket is ridiculous. I can understand women using it because they have a purse... But they tend to have smaller hands lol. I wanted to shave off every inch I could to make it manageable for on the go.

My first Provari was the standard size. After awhile, I never even used it in 18650 mode and began to regret my decision.. I ended up buying a mini and selling my standard on the classifieds and couldn't be happier :vapor:

One of the motivating factors for me getting a ProVari was the compact size. I wouldn't carry around a VAMO or SVD - they stayed home and Ego's went out with me. But thought MAYBE a ProVari would be small enough, so I got a Mini, but with an extension since I didn't know what battery life would be like.
Very quickly found I WAS Ok with a ProVari in a pocket usually, but that I'd rather carry it in 18490 mode than carry another battery.

So when I got my second one about a week later, I bought a standard.
:D

Ugh. I only got one cause we spent so much $$ at one time. I'm going back this weekend and getting more though. I'm charging this thing all the time.

I would get at least 2-3 more. I doubt they sell battery cases there but I can either give you a good website or maybe you can go to radio shack and see if they have any. If anything, I have an extra case or 2 I can give you along with a tatroe extension ring

i have 3 batteries for my mini and i blow through all of them in a day. i have an extension from cigtech on the way. i am ordering another mini in the next few days. i do need a bigger battery, but i like the rain drops better.

This is probably a stupid question but what are rain drops (in the vaping world of course). Haha

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I like the versatility of the Mini. Sometimes I don't want to carry a big ol' device around and extra batteries are easy to carry. Right now I have an extender and the extension cap on one, though, just because my smaller size batteries need to be replaced (used 'em up...lol) and I'm too lazy to get around to ordering more.
