Warning! Satan's Agents on Fighting Fundamental Forums

One of the most challenging places to "stand up for Jesus" is when one is in a group setting with other believers; even in "places" on the internet, such as list servs and discussion forums. Much peer pressure is exerted in a group—even in an electronic format—and we must guard against hiding our light for fear of getting flamed from "fellow believers." Many posters on list servs and discussion forums are occultists (usually witches) who pose as Christians in order to pump as much anti-biblical, occult/New Age attitudinal changes into Christians as possible. This may sound shocking, but it is true. Witchcraft dominated "Christian" forums are now the norm, even those that claim to be Fundamentalist Baptist.... OR (you fill in the blanks);

Please be sure to read the rest of the 'must read' material here;

You are so BAD SG! :glare:

Here is the spirit of Witchcraft;

The apostle Paul taught us that witchcraft is released through our own stubbornness and rebellion to God’s will. He describes both actions as workings of the flesh. Scripture says, “O foolish Galatians, (Insert any denomination here) who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” (Galatians 3:1-3)

The apostle Paul, the writer who corrected the foolish Galatians, didn’t stop with a quick rebuke. He wanted to make the fleshly workings of witchcraft plain to all who read his epistle. He continued, “Now the works of the flesh (sarx) are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness (unbridled lust), idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance (contention), emulations (jealous rivalry), wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings (evil carousing), and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21; author’s emphases in parentheses).

This has been going on for years. I've not seen a Harry Pooter movie, nor will I read any of the books. I know some Christians that think nothing is wrong with the Pooter movies or books, and I finally said, "You know how I feel about those." She equates it to Star Trek. No, it's not. Star Trek is pure fantasy and witchcraft is real. My niece used to be a Wiccan and she gave it up as it didn't stop my nephew from drinking. OOPS! Really?!?! Witchcraft or any other New Age garbage is of satan himself, and he has a bad habit of turning on his own. That's one of his 'gotchas!'

We have to take a stand....plant our feet in the soil or sand (depending on where you are) and say, "The Lord rebukes you!" We aren't supposed to engage in conversation with him, as Jesus didn't. He spoke in Scripture......the sword of truth.....sharper than any 2 edged sword.....uh oh..... I feel it coming on me...........................................:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Here's how I feel about this issue. Back in Jesus's day, there was no internet, so they had to go from town to town to reach people to share the gospel with them. There was no other way.

But, today we have this incredible thing that brings people together, in one place, from all over the world at one time. It's a perfect place to speak about Jesus! If it weren't for the internet, this wouldn't be possible.

Forums and things like forums have become the new "town square", where you can go at anytime and talk with people. It's an amazing thing!

In this new cyber town square, all kinds of people are there, just like in a real town square. You have people from all walks of life, including some really nasty ones. Back in Jesus's day they would encounter people possessed by demons. I can't see any reason to believe that the internet would be any different.

I also belong to a huge christian forum with over half a million members. The strange thing is that the nastiest people, the ones that will say vile things and mock you, almost always have a very bizarre avatar. It's like the picked a reflection of themselves........and some are really ugly and dark. Makes you go hmmmmmmmmm, and their words are even uglier.

A true christian should always stand up for Jesus, even when under attack. The Bible says if you deny Him before men, He will also deny you before His father. Interesting.

Satan also uses the internet as one of his best tools tho.........and it's very effective. So you always have to be on guard because he will use people to post things in an attempt to weaken your faith, or tempt you. Standing firm in God is the only way you can resist, and it's also a testimony to others.

A discerning christian can usually spot these bad apples a mile away. :)
