Again I don't understand the "gloating" and "karma" stuff. It's rather disturbing that as a society this is our "enjoyable news." It also appears to me that much of it is political in nature. The only good I can see coming out of this is that women (or men) who are being harassed do something about it at the time, perhaps younger women growing up will, ah, do something about it.
Gloating about a man being a perv and then it coming to light years later really doesn't do much for me, it's not a good look, and the fact that people are saying they don't care if it's true, even shows me where we are going as a society. It's disgusting.
Okay, so Glantz is evil. Glorying in his downfall-- even if it's a total lie and politically motivated-- is just as bad.
JMO, but if this is going to be SPREAD all over ECF, then I am going to make this same statement about it.
Exposing "sexual harassment" decades after the fact is not a joyous occurrence, and if it is fabricated and politically motivated given the current trend in the news, it really makes me turn HARD to the right.
Have some self-respect, and if you are a woman gloating, think really, really hard about that. It's not a good look, much like the "censored" hats. If this society has gone so viciously dismayed about our political climate, acting as badly or worse than the accused is NOT okay, either. In fact, it's worse, because one should know better and strategize to outdo the aggressors in ways that are not equally as disgusting or worse than the aggressor. If we need to rise up with guns, then perhaps we do, but this media cycle is really as bad as I've ever seen. I despair sometimes. I wish I could leave.
