Flavor is pretty good and convenience is good except for the leakage.

I swear I am sick of the leakage. I have been told I was doing it wrong, over filling, etc., but even if i use a syringe and only fill part way, I always get leakage on the battery post.

And it isn't condensation either because it happens very quickly.

Is there anyone that has an answer???

Is it just one particular Stardust, or do you have several that do that?

I'm no Stardust expert because I use Vivi Nova tanks (and they are MUCH better than Stardusts in my opinion). But when I was using Stardusts, I only had one that developed a leak. My solution was easy - throw it away. They are $4. No big deal.

After I used the Vivi Nova for a few days I noticed that I no longer had tissues stuffed in my pocket and my battery post was always dry. I guess I just took it for granted that Star Dusts would leak.

I never found a solution to the Star Dust leaks. They sometimes did work well for a week or 2, but they all eventually leaked. I loved the Star Dust at first and bought 20 of them (now have 2 left), so I have tried everything I can think of and everything suggested on the Forum.

The Vivi Nova and the Mini are the best that I have found, still not perfect, but it's Great to not constantly wipe the battery dry.

Just to clarify. I stocked up on the early version of the Star Dust so they were all the same version. They were the "best" available at the time. From reading threads constantly since then I still get the impression that they have not perfected the center post seal to last the life that they should. I have never retired one because of the wick or coil giving out. It was always a leak.

By no means am I knocking your vaping experience, but time and trial and error have taught me to leave stardusts alone. Any form of clearomizer outside of a Vivi Nova. All the vapers I know started out with an eGo and a stardust. And within weeks there was grumbling among the group... everyone's stardust clearomizers were crapping out on them. I got fed up with them quicker than the rest and moved on to the Vivi Nova and those "map" carto/tank combos. Those work the best in my opinion. I don't know how to help you with your stardust leaking, and I don't mean to come across as snarky, but my best advice is ditch those things and look into something else. Wish I could help more!

I've bought about 5 of Smokeless Image's version of the Stardust, and in every one of them, the leaking on the battery post eventually got me annoyed enough to throw them away. In all cases, the coil still worked great, and no cracks or any other issues. I really like the vapor and flavor, but was unable to find a cause or fix for the battery post leakage.

Yeah, it's really hit or miss with clearos of any kind. Like Damthisisfun said, his (or her's) worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the vast majority of vapers I know, both short term and veterans, left the clearos behind and moved on to Vivi Novas, cartos, cartotanks, and a few I know drip almost exclusively. I envy their patience with dripping. Yes, oh yes, it's delicious, but it can be annoying at times (like while driving, for example).

One last thing to the OP: Are you twisting the clearo off your battery by gripping the plastic? If so, that might become loosened. I suggest gripping the base of the clearo, and not the plastic tank, to unscrew it. I learned with a CE4 that had that textured metal base to twist it at the metal base and not the plastic of the actual tank. If I tried to unscrew it by gripping the plastic tank, it came loose above the metal base and that led to leaking. I hope that made sense... I just re-read it and it sounded confusing.
