Stardust Clearomizer No Longer Fires

I couldn't find a thread that addressed this directly thus this post.

What is the approximate lifespan of a Clearomizer?

I have a 13 day old Stardust Clearomizer that doesn't fire any longer. Note: the coil doesn't make any sound. It's inert!
I used both VG/PG and VG juices with it.

PS, I rinsed it out thoroughly. I'll re-try tomorrow once completely dry.

If you're vaping 100% VG, I doubt you could get much better life out of one. I haven't tried the Vision tanks myself yet, but everything I've read on this forum so far suggests they don't like straight VG too well.

I dont use stardusts .. But I had to "pull my post" on my cheap horrible stoner vivi nova ripoff tank. I would bet this is your issue .. When the middle post of the atty gets pushed up by battery.

I'm somewhat new to vaping. I find a few things that work great and some, not so much.

An example of the "not" is the eGo T-tank. It's wonderful provided one doesn't remove the tank. The seal won't survive a subsequent attempt. You'll be drinkin' your juices. All five of my carts proved this. Too bad. The atty pack of 5, tanks and the cone are more costly than a simple carto.

Sometimes just a small wiggle of the centre pin of the carto or the battery and cleaning your threads thoroughly with an alcohol swab can do the trick. Sounds like it isn't making any connection.

The lifespan is kind of random and determined by amount of use, type of juice and many other things.

Ego for instance quotes that their atomizers last 15-60 days. It's a wide range but that's just the reality of the situation. Heavy use with a heavy juice will burn them out faster. It's much like a lightbulb in that regard. You put a new one in and sometimes they last a year and sometimes they fail after a couple weeks.
