Going to meet him later today with some flavorings, so we'll talk about this then alittle, too, I'm sure. Also need to go over my User Name on here, so I can keep tabs on what he's saying about me. :D
You might also want to explain ECF rules about linking to certain other sites. I don't know if you saw:
I've tried numerous times to add the link but it just adds periods instead of the link but the website is e-liq (Edited by IDJoel) I'm also doing this from my phone so not sure if that is the reason it's not allowing me (even though I've added links on here from my phone in the past).
:D
BTW: I liked The thought and phrasing of the rest of your post. I weigh. You volume. Neither of us is "right," or "better," or "smarter" (well... OK... you're smarter; but that has nothing to do with chosen method! :lol::lol::lol:), it is solely a matter of what works best for each of us! :wub:

Yep, will do...it caught my eye while reading his post.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Took me several times editing it, to get it just the way I wanted it. Was very very early this AM, and my brain was weary.

Also, the last part of your post just gave me a laugh, which was a great way to start my day! :D

You lost me on this one. I grant that for you, you might find it easier and faster to mix by volume, but how can there be less cleanup since mixing by weight has no cleanup at all?

@JCinFLA clarified on my behalf. I don't have any cleanup myself. I don't wash out my syringes or needles and have not had a problem with cross flavors. To make a 100 ml juice maybe takes me 2-3 min and no cleanup. I e tried mixing by weight and it takes me longer and I end up getting VG all over by trying to pour it into a bottle with a small opening. Then I have a lot more cleanup than I do if I would have used a syringe so for me and IMO, yes measuring by volume is a lot faster (not to mention more precise because of maybe over pouring flavor or VG and the cleanup thereafter) and more precise because I just suck up the flavors until it hits the line in the syringe that I need it to instead of trying to get .5 grams of a flavor into the bottle without over pouring.

@Wheelin247,
It sounds like you not only found a great friend but also a great way for you to mix. All I can say is Hooray! That is at least half the battle. Whatever can make it more enjoyable, keep you mixing, and off the stinkies, is a smart choice. I am glad you have found success. :D

@IDJoel - He's definitely right about the above, our friendship and his mixing! He was hooked on DIY from the very beginning, too...like a kid in a candy shop, but with all the different flavorings and the endless recipe possibilities. Never met anyone who was as enthusiastic to be learning DIY and making so many test batches from the get-go! He's made some really good eliquids so far, too! I don't think there's any way he'll ever go back to smoking again. :thumbs:
