I've been reading the forum for a couple of days now and I believe I have all of my questions answered.
I picked up an Njoy Npro at 7-11 yesterday to give vaping a try. As it is, cigarettes are over $10/pack here in NY and have been climbing in price at the reservation where I've been buying them for the last two years. I figured it was time for a change.
As of right now, I am so very used to vaping. I bought the kit right before I had to go to work and charged it on the way. I purposely did not smoke an analog during the ride so I could get the full effect of the vapor.
Ok. It was harsh the first few hits, but the feeling became pleasant with a good throat hit. The only problem is the nasty taste juice NJoy uses. It brought me back to the days of my youth when I would smoke the butts from the ashtray when I ran out of cigarettes. But all in all, I vaped for 8 hours and didn't have an analog. I broke when I couldn't take the taste of the juice anymore.
One of the cartridges stopped working and started spitting juice into my mouth. I emailed NJoy and they are sending me a replacement.
Last night I ordered some vanilla juice (with a free sample of Grandma's Apple Pie from The Vapor Room), an atomizer, and some blanks (eSmokeclub) to get me through until I have the spare cash to buy a decent 510 kit (I have been looking at the kits from Innovapors).
After I was the guinea pig for vaping, my sister bought a kit from 7-11 last night. She then proceeded to buy cartridges, atomizers, etc for a 510. I had to break the bad news to her that they were incompatible. So she bought a cheap 510 kit from MyFreedomSmokes.
I'll say this, as soon as my juice and cartridges arrive, I am off analogs. I've been smoking since I was 12 (I'm 34 now) and average between 1-2 packs per day (dependant on stress levels and other factors... like beer). Quitting smoking was never an option. I like to smoke. Period. And this is just way too awesome. I can't wait to try out other juices.
I have friends who are interested in e-cigs and are awaiting my verdict. I'm giving them the thumbs up on this one. This will especially be great for my friend who's mother has emphysema and still smokes.
