To set your mind even more at ease, my two cents:
I bought my Grand (hereafter, 'My baby') 23 months ago. It's been my all day, every day
vape for that
entire time. Since I bought it, I've purchased 4 atomisers for it (a second A7, a Hornet, a Cyclone and an RM2) I still use all of them. I run through 10-12 ml of juice per day. The (brass, I think) 510 connector finally wore out - last week - so I sent it back to Rob, for a new SS connector, that will likely last FOREVER. I'm so lost without it that I bought a brand new LP Grand, just in case anything else happens to my baby in the future.
My wife also vapes - 2-3ml/day. Since buying my baby, I have bought her:
2 Smok Grippers
an Ego-T
2 VV Egos (I forget what they were called at the time...)
an Itaste MVP
an MVP2
6+ Vivi Nova tanks, and dozens of replacement heads
2 carto tanks, and 100-odd cartos
2 Protanks, and dozens of heads
a Fogger v4.1
a Squape
an iStick
...and probably a bunch of other junk that I can't think of at the moment. Only the last 3 items still function, and she pretty much hates the fogger. Almost as much as I do - I'm stuck vaping it on a tube mod atm, while I wait for my REAL PVs to return from the shop. Nothing against the Fogger itself, it's just *nothing like* vaping on a dripper.
You guessed it, another vote for the Reo. It will likely make you wonder why anybody bothers with tanks at all.
Also, my wife's iStick + Squape is both longer and heavier than my Grand + Cyclone/RM2/A7. And I've never actually met another Reo owner face-to-face, but everyone and their dog seems to have an iStick. For whatever that's worth.
At the end of the day, though, the best hardware is really whatever hardware makes you smile inside your head.
