Oviously you don't know what a ipv or istick looks like.

Is that thing a bottom feeder or one of those tank type things ? Tanks are no good for me they are too delicate. And way too much of a pia. See I have the best of it all here. Dripping is the best vape available and I drop from the bottom up. Every month or so I have to change my coil and that's it other than juice and a batt here and there. Any electronics in that thing or is it mechanical ? If it is mechanical
Can it get dirty dusty covered in oils asphalts etc etc ?

The ipv mini + aspire Atlas tank on the left. Its just a 30 Watt box style mod. Iv dropped it in a full glass of water once by accident and it was unaffected. These tanks are fresh to the market, they are a zero maintenance, easy filling carto tanks basically. The right is oviously a reo + 2014 Cyclone. They each serve their own purpose.

My wife is rocking a IPV mini + Atlantis while out and about, VVG reo when at home.

I gotta say - clearos and apv's have come a long way in the last year. The thing for me is that she hasn't had one apv last for more than a few months without something getting hinky. Mostly buttons that fail, sometimes the board/chip goes bad, sometimes 510 connections that crap out. Meanwhile, I've not had a single reo fail of that magnitude, and if I did, I can talk to Rob and get a solution lined up within a half hour.

Come the vapocalypse, I'll be selling grands for land. The wife will be complaining of wonky power adjustment buttons.

But hey, that's me. It's all good.

Uh yeah, I was intrigued by the Atlantis when it came out, got one sitting on my ZNA right now as a matter of fact. Let's see about convenience well it only holds 2mls of juice, and the thing is a juice hog that requires all 30 watts my zna is capable of providing for best performance and flavor. So yeah, lotta pulling the tank on and off to fill up the tank. Ok yeah, the Atlantis will pump out a ton of vapor, but then again so do my Odins, Atomic, Zenith, and Rogues on my Reos. And flavor? IMO, while the Atlantis gives decent flavor, it doesn't come close to touching ANY of my bf attys. But that's my opinion.

ETA: looked back at post, and can see the Nautilus and Nautilus minis might be what is being discussed and I have those as well with the bvc heads, have also used those on the ZNA and my 2 provaris, actually have the regular nautilus on my provari and the mini on my provari mini. Those 3 mods are sitting in my vape stand as they have for weeks now collecting dust, because the fact of the matter is that, IMO, nothing I have or have had, approaches the performance, reliability, convenience, and flavor I get from my bf drippers.

wow, just kill the guy who happens to have an opinion that differs from yours

actually the new bvc coils really are pretty friggin amazing, I'm well versed in rebuilding and fine tuning my vape to awesome in many different devices, I've played with and fine tuned my vapes way more than most would have patience for and honestly, the bvc's are so impressive that they shocked the heck out of me as to how good they really are... no need to shoot me for saying that I hope :D I do still grab a reo way more often than my billet box with the bvc, if I had to choose one over the other then yeah, I'm not saying I'd personally prefer the bvc over a reo but on the other hand if I was ever restricted to only bvc truth is, they are good enough to be a really good satisfying vape... I know I know, I would have never believed just how good they are myself either until actually trying them but they really are like nothing before it...

If I were still primarily a MTL vapor, I would agree. The nautilus with the bvc heads perform awesome in the 15 watt range, but I have over the last couple of months become a lung hitter on the bigger attys I have been getting for my LP's and the draw on the Nautilus and Nautilus Mini are tighter than my preference is now. Still, think the rm2 gives better flavor than the bvc's do. But like I said, just my opinion.

I honestly think it's great that there is a product that is mainstream such as this. It allows new vapers a much more satisfying vape and therefore a better chance at quitting.

So that being said...is the bvc a good product? Without a doubt! Will it outperform a reo with a properly built rda? Not a chance!

Hey slappy,

you read my mind! thanks for the detailed response. I was just about to ask the question you answered for me (exactly how do the trendy tanks fare against the bf drippers & rdas). :)

I know ow I'm gonna get killed on this but it's my honest opinion. The reo community is awsome. Rob is awsome. He makes an extremely high quality product. But outside of military/ hard core uses and pure collecting for hobby there is no reason to buy a reo over something like an ileaf. Imo rebuilding is not worth it anymore. It's all because of aspire. They set a new standard for attys. Iv been building for almost 2 years now and I can't build something the produces the amount of vapor and the flavor the aspire bvc does. I litterly haven't been on the forums because there's no reason. All I worry about is grab a new battery, fill up my tank and go. I would recommend an ipv mini over an istick tho because of the removable battery. I will say this the reo is virtually indestructible and if that's what you need then you found your product.

Wow I have aspire bvc and they don't give me the flavor that my Cisco atties and my hh. 357's give. To each there own. I wasted a lot of money on tanks and drippers and for me the best vape doesn't require any building at all. Much more convenient for me and I finally taste my juice. If it were not for my reo I was giving up. Too much wasted money. Heck I get better flavor from cartos than I do the nauti. Had I realized I could use 510 atties And cartos on the reo I would have bought one a long time ago

Hi all,

I'm a newb vaper thinking of upgrading my EVOD2 setup to some sort of box mod on a budget ($70~). So I've been lurking the REO forum and the ECF forum in general trying to figure out my next step. The REO interests me because of its simplicity, durability and low maintenance. Mini is my speed and size preference. The VV APV & clearo worlds seem to be way too "keeping up with the Joneses" if you know what I mean. Like how the "iStick 20 + Naut Mini" combo used to rule, but now everyone's talking about the "iStick 30/IPV mini + Subtank Mini" as the new ...... for easy Newb upgrading. Arrg! I like the REO but the istick & IPV are more in my budget range.

Plus since I'm interested in vaping max VG, the REO sounds perfect for it. Does this mean that no one uses clearomizers on the REO?? I'm getting some 510 Cisco atomizers from avidvapes because I have a bunch of juice samples and don't want to commit a full tank to them yet. I have to raise the funds/save up a bit for a REO Mini on the reosmods.com, so I'm hoping that someone will part with one of their Minis (preferably purple) on the Classifieds. I keep dithering on whether to REO or not and driving myself batty. Hepl!! :?:

I love my Cisco atties and the reo. Just bought my second reo on the classies. It should be here Monday. I also have the istick but don't use it. I want to add I change flavors a lot. I bought a bunch of bottles but havnt needed them. I just don't fill them all the way. It is easy to switch flavors. I also use the shorty cartos. Some of my juices taste better in a carto for some reason. My purple and white reo cost me $121 shipped to my door. Not too bad.

Yeah il admit hh357 are God like. The problem is squonking even after alot of practice isn't always the most consistent. When I go out to the bar I rather just use the ipv+aspire combo. Home I mess around with my reo and cyclone

Good thing we have the ability to make so many choices. What works best for one doesn't work for another and so forth.

I think the aero's are good and they are less than half the price.

I found the key to the hh.357 is to blow it out daily. And about once a week i clean them by soaking in vodka.

Just like everything there is a learning curve, and what works for one person doesn't for another.
There is no right set up. Just preferred set ups.

I can't understand why the aspire bvc has no flavor to me. Imget awesome vapor, no flavor, yet every one else seems to rant over the awesome flavor. I am over here scratching my head.
