Well, I've narrowed it down to the following options and I was wondering if people here had used them and could help me pick what's best for me in terms of build quality, ease of use and being serviceable (taste is also important but I understand that's subjective):

-Ego C Mini Vivi-Nova (€45)
-Kanger EVOD (€48,50)
-Justfog Maxi Premium XL (€58,95) (De Justfog Maxi Premium 900mAh, elektrische sigaret met clearomizer. Kwalitatief Elektrisch roken | Elektrische sigaret)

I haven't been able to find reviews on the Justfog, but it looks quite nice and the battery indicator seems pretty handy.

If anyone has better suggestions, I'd like to hear them, but I'd rather keep it around this price-range although I could pay up to a 100 euros if the price is worth it.

Also, I pretty much quit smoking, I only smoke when I drink these days or the occasional cigarette in social settings, but if I don't happen to run into any of my smoking friends I don't smoke at all. Size to me isn't that important as I don't really care as long as it tastes good and doesn't run out of battery too fast.

Thanks in advance.

For me I like a long lasting battery, 900 maH and higher, I made the mistake of getting a small battery to mimic a cigarette more and was constantly charging it, same goes for the cartomizer/atomizer/tank, the vivi nova is mint if you ask me, usually only need to fill it once a day.

After reading the forums a bit more, I saw a lot of people recommending the Kanger Protank, so I ended up getting that one.

It also came with a bigger battery than the other options, so I think it was a good buy.
Thanks for your input anyway!

Sounds like a good setup, I like the Wu Tang name

Thanks, I love Wu-Tang.

Make sure you have at least two (preferably 3) batteries so you aren't smoking cigarettes waiting for your e cig batteries to charge. :)

The set came with 2 batteries, so that should last me quite some time. I'm not quite sure what flavors to get though. I've ordered Dekang Marlboro 12mg with it (that was the strongest the website carried). Any brands I should be on the lookout for? Preferably those which also distribute in Europe.

You'll probably get 2 days out of both if your not heavy with it. I would recommend trying out a few vendors who offer small samples so you aren't throwing a lot out. I'm in Canada and order from the States, not sure what Europe has to offer. Been listening a lot to 36 chambers again, I love Can it all be all so simple, and protect your neck. Good luck yo.

with Juice, biggest mistake I made a couple years ago when I 1st tried it was trying to "mimic" a cigarette... It isn't a cigarette, it's vapor and now I look for flavors I just like. 24mg juice is strong... I was a 2 pack Malboro a day smoker and 24mg juice turned me white as a sheet when I vaped heavy. I like sweet flavors with a somewhat bitter finish, like caramel cappuccino and Butter rum (tobacco). I found I didn't like the tobacco flavors, and after vaping awhile, I picked up a cig and lit it... I put it out immediately... it tasted like crapola. LOL

How long do 1100mAh batteries last on average? I doubt I'll be puffing on it all day, as I'm not a regular smoker to begin with.

They say an 1100 should last about 11 hours of vape time but thats subjective. I vape about 4 mls a day and i can go through 2 1100 batts in a day.

Well, the website where I was ordering from didn't really carry many different flavours, and the ones I wanted were either out of stock or without nicotine, so I ended up getting 10ml of Dekang Marlboro flavour (12mg nicotine). I'll probably try and find some other stores which stock more tastes.

I don't plan to be vaping all day long, so I think it'll last me fine.

I used to smoke about a pack a day and when I started I started out with some ego style batteries that were 650 mah and one battery would last me for 2 days. And I did vape kinda heavy when I first started out. I think some of it depends on the quality of the battery you buy. I now have some 900 mah and they last me about 2 days also.

You should always have 2 batteries (at least) so that you can use them til they run down then you can have one to vape on while the other is charging.

Did you get original Joyetech?
If not, I would be careful as some of the fakes dont perform very well..

I eventually stumbled on this set and ended up buying it:

2 x eGo-1100 mAh battery
2 x Kanger protank
4 x 2.2 ohm head
1 x charger USB/Wall
1 x Manual
1 x Gift box

Cost me 67 Euros with a 10ml bottle of Dekang Marlboro 12mg flavor

I think you're limiting yourself with the tobacco flavor; you might like it, but taste is different on an e-cig, and you have so many more choices.

There's a few common recipes, or variations, one of which is called RY4; tobacco, caramel, and vanilla. Now there's no way this is going to sound appealing right now, but you'll invariably get around to it. Heck, you might even enjoy a fruit flavor! (I'm not there yet, but considering it)

According to this thread I think it's a real joytech (it has the hard clear button).

Yeah, I've already ordered a couple of flavors, including: RY4(Dekang), Citrus Mix, Coffee and Traditional tobacco (Liqua).

So far my experience with the vape has been good, although it did give me a soar throat. I did smoke on it all day cause I liked the taste, but the vapor feels a bit harsh the next day (12mg nic) and I do feel some mucus buildup. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not used to PG or that vaping itself is still irritating/harmful to the lungs (although not to the degree of smoking regular cigaretes).

Before I got the vape I already cut down heavily on smoking, to the point where I would only smoke cigarettes in social environments when drinking, or at a barbecue, but that would be somewhere in the 3-5 cigarettes a day at most.

I started with a basic ego set. Came with 2 clearo's, 2 batteries (650), & a bottle of juice. I bought a few extra bottles of tobacco juice to start, so I wouldn't run out. Today will be 4 weeks since I stopped my 2 pack a day cigarette habit.
I also have found that while I still like tobacco flavor, there is a world of other flavors that vaping has opened up to me and can't wait to try some more of them out.
The only thing I have added to my original set is a Vision spinner variable voltage battery(1300). It's larger, but can set the voltage(up to 4.8) and get a decent amount of vaper with each hit. I noticed my original batteries would not produce as good of vaper with a 1.6ml clearo, so paired them with a smaller .9ml and they do quite well, just have to fill more often :)
